On the way to the beach we decided to eat something and we've found a wonderful restaurant by the waterfront, Vintsentzos ...and that was it ! This is one of the very few places in Amorgos. I could say that you truly feel like home with home made food. We had a lovely table in a beautiful setting outside. The service was very good, attentive and friendly. We've ordered fried gavros and veggie meals. Mmmmmm... heaven in my mouth!". Just like Mom used to make. Definitely a worthwhile stop while visiting Katapola. Arrive hungry!

Refreshing ! A real Greek place with great food and what is most important all ingredients are homegrown and fresh ! In the village of Arkesini look for the sign as the restaurant is a little on retreat of the road and another more commercial place is more visible

At here because of good TA reviews and corroboration by hotel desk staff. Positives are great Greek salad with excellent tomatoes, tasty Raki boiled with cinnamon and honey, and beautiful sunset views. Negatives include almost no octopus in the octopus with pasta dish (although sauce was very good) and underdone French fries with veal in oven dish. Just can't give four stars for this. Service was good and House white wine was better than average.

We have been to the restaurant several times in previous years, but only for breakfast and lunch. This year was the first time we were in Aegiali at night and took the opportunity to have dinner here. What an absolute treat. The service was excellent, the meal are highly recommended and the view from the terrace one of the best in the port. When you are downstairs you cannot imagine that the view from upstairs are so dramatically different. The stuffed Zucchini deserves a special mention. So much so that we returned the following night for another portion. Thank you Theo and Panagiotis, you are excellent hosts.

The menu is not typical Greek taverna fare. The dishes are more sophisticated and are created by chef/owner Vangelis who has a real love for his job. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is excellent. There is always something interesting to watch at the quayside opposite the restaurant.

This traditional taverna is really good.I recommend the seafood, especially the "Small Fried Fish" and the "Fried Calamari".Both dishes were extremely fresh and well-cooked.We also tried the Stuffed Vegetables which were amazing.Prices are really good, as everywhere in Amorgos :)Service friendly and attentive.100% Recommended.

Had a late lunch at this typical family place on the front. The usual taverna menu. We chose a few dishes - Taramasalata, meatballs, sardines, Greek salad. All well prepared and served by a pleasant young waitress. A glass of the local honey raki liqueur to finish.Recommended.

We were driving from a north to south in Amorgos. Took a detour and ended up in this restaurant by accident. However, happy we did. Excellent location watching the sea.This local, family atmosphere when it is good. Service oriented staff and good quality food at reasonable prices.

We tried this restaurant after having read incredibly positive reviews. Suggested as the best restaurant in Amorgos, we came here for a quite early dinner, when many tables were still free and there was no pressure or chaos.We waited a while to get someone to take our orders, and this already gave us a glimpse of what the service was. The starters came many minutes apart, so I had to start eating alone, while my boyfriend was still waiting for his starter to arrive. The main dishes came simultaneously. However, during the dinner, my boyfriend had to napkin.The food was food. The fish is fresh and the fish itself is a good combination of tradition ingredients and a modern twist.The service doesn't compare with the food, the location and the prices at all.In my opinion, a good service can make an average food very good, but and average service is never compensated by good food.
