Amecameca (formally Amecameca de Juárez) is a town and municipality located in the eastern panhandle of Mexico State between Mexico City and the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanos of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is located on federal highway 115 which leads to Cuautla, which is called the Volcano Route (Ruta de los Volcanes). This area is popular with weekend visitors from Mexico City, Puebla and Morelos to enjoy the scenery of the mountains, eat local foods, visit the Sanctuary of the Señor del Sacromonte, the Panoaya Hacienda and other attractions. However, when Popocatépetl is active, tourism here drops dramatically. The area receives a large number of visitors during the annual Carnival/Festival del Señor del Sacromonte, which extends over the week containing Ash Wednesday and is considered to be one of the most important festivals in Mexico State.

We came to enjoy japanese dinner. And we really did. Very professional staff, friendly, attentive and fast. ( when the chopstick of my wife fell down, they immediately realized - and without us ordering - brought a new one. ) the food has been very delicious. My beef steak was perfectly cooked by the chef on the teppanyiaki. With fresh vegetable that where so tasty. Even the rice was a highlight. We will come again.Good day!We appreciate your comments! We look forward to your presence again.Receive a cordial greeting.

Seriously just stop reading this review and go get the shrimp tacos (tacos de camarón). Theyâre one of the best things Iâve ever eaten in my life. The shrimp is fried in a light batter and lightly seasoned to bring out the natural flavors of the shrimp. Sweet, savory, salty, delicious.A few notes on how the restaurant works in case youâre easily confused like me. You walk up to the taquero and place your order. Heâll hand you your food and a slip of paper with what you ordered on it. Keep that. Youâll need it to pay and if you decide to get more food. If you order drinks or more complicated dishes than the simple tacos your waiter will bring those to your table. Thereâs a bar with different salsas and veggies you can add to your tacos, although honestly the shrimp is so good I donât think it needs any dressing up.The fish tacos were also good but not as great as the shrimp in my opinion. A little bland compared to other fish tacos Iâve had. But those shrimp tacos, my god. I will dream of those shrimp tacos tonight.

Aitana is literally at the top of Mexicoâs City restaurants. Itâs located in the heart of the business district of Las Lomas, near the Reforma hotels surrounded by a park in the âDoritoâ building. It has created an impecable environment, offering an extensive international wine list, whith most of the best Mexicansâ ones are present. The menu is the jewel of the crown as top ingredients create marvelous creations presented impecably at your table. The staff smiles a lot, well prepared to please you at your special requests.A trendy place where easily you will see some of the well known Mexican business men. Reservations in advance are recommended as it could be full.My top choice while in Mexico City. Simply the best !

Everyone was constantly RUNNING, literally RUNNING INSIDE THE RESTAURANT. Every staff member except the guy who was actually STANDING in the front to check reservation. At 12:30 PM when we arrived only a few tables were full but the running started to happen already in full force. There is No CHEF in the kitchen because no self respecting individual who can call him/herself a chef will cook in a place where the sole objective is to push diners out as fast as possible to make as much money as possible as fast as possible. These are minimum wage earners cooks. We ordered 3 items. A salad that says, "Cucumber, Fava beans, herbs" but contained seriously only 2 fava beans. It tasted ok. The bread was good. Next was a pasta with clams. Here cooking really fast would have worked better but as I said there is no chef, these are cooks who do not know what food is. Pasta was way overcooked, clams had no taste and the sauce was bland. Next was the Contramar's famous fish with two sauces. Here comes again the aim of making money. They did not even scaled the fish because it will weigh a few ounces more with the scales and the price was by weight. The fish was good although for almost $49 (USD) it better be good. As many people here wrote about how fast they push, our waiter tried to take my husband's plate of pasta away while he was still eating. This man usually never loses his temper. He was upset. Just gave a look to the server and I hope he got the message. Did I mention the noise level? Outrageously loud because the tables are almost on top of each other. A horrible place if you are looking for a nice meal for a lot of money for Mexico. At the end we wanted to run too. Run far away and as fast as possible. We did not drink any coffee or had desserts. Went across the street to the small cafe to drink coffee. It was so very refreshing to be away from this ridiculous, touristy spot.

My husband and I came for lunch, we should have taken advice to not eat seafood this far from the coast. The service was really good. We shared the cebcihes samplers - they were fine. Esquites con camaron was really good and then we split Plancha del Mar - the fish and possibly the octopus tasted off and about 8 hours later we were both sick with chills, hot sweats and gastrointestinal symptoms. We had not eaten anywhere else or drank any other place this day and are pretty sure it was from the fish that did not taste fresh in the entrees we ate.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing and the portions were extremely generous. We had the stone crab claws then caprese salad and steaks for our entrees. The steaks were cooked exactly med rare as we asked. We also enjoyed our cocktails. The staff asked us if there was a reason for our visit, and we informed them that we were visiting Mexico City for our 32 wedding anniversary. We chose Harryâs for our last night in the city and we were so glad that we did. The service was fantastic (thank you Cesar and Heledioro!)! The restaurant wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our celebration and brought us a delicious dessert on the house. We will make sure to eat here any time we go to Mexico City!Hello, shady_akinsThank you for giving us the opportunity to celebrate lifeâs big moments with you. A good choice of meat. Choose the NY rib steak with a nice glass of Mexican Malbec and the dinner was just fine. Maybe a little bit expensive compare to Mexican standard but for the rest nothing to say. I can highly recommend.Hola 354huguessMuchas gracias por tus comentarios, esperamos regreses pronto. ¡Saludos!
