Our friends who were there a few days ago recommended this restaurant, and I am immensely grateful for their recommendation. All the dishes were so delicious and fresh - seafood, carne, pasta, anything and everything. We just loved the octopus and prawn salad so much, and the sirloin steak was so tender. Gosh, I wish that we had a longer stay in Alba, so we could have gone back there. Federica superbly managed all the tables quite single-handedly and with a smile. The restaurant is small but very well maintained. We were glad that we booked a table in advance. Lots of people were turned away while we were enjoying our delicious dishes. Most clients were local and the menu's English descriptions are not complete. So, you'd be better prepared with google translator and some knowledge on Italian cuisine. Anyhow all dishes are good, so you can just order any and be pleasantly surprised. :)

What a wonderful experience. We were two couples that had a late dinner outside in a lovely setting. Truffle is a local specialty and I was keen to eat pasta with truffle - what a delight. Plus this restaurant offered a range of dishes other than the traditional Piedmont ones which were also fabulous. Great wine selection. Our waitress was amazing.Highly recommended.

Visited on a rainy Monday night when many other places are closed. We tried the grilled seafood which was generous and tasty. Offered a good mixed salad also though like many places in italy, they use those hard black olives. Pizza list was huge. Service was efficient and smiling.Wine list was extensive with options by the glass. Reasonably priced and worth a visit.

In city like Alba (famous for Truffles) on one of principal squares in romantic corner on terrace i expect to find great dining experience with full and explosive taste in the most simpliest foods like pasta with truffles and some sea food with homemade still hot pastry ect. Maybe I was wrong and I expect to much but none of these matched my expectation... i was really desapointed when waiter(kind and helpfull) brought a bread... since than I understood it will be tragic not fresh at all from supermarket??? Tartar with truffles (realy good portion of truffles on it) with absolutely absolutely no taste?!? Truffles where stiff and really no fresh...here my story dont end but it is enough for your idea. Stuff whas nice and helpfull though...

I got the impression that this restaurant has high ambitions and to serve really nice gourmet food. I do not think they meet this level. The best I had was the grilled meat, the rest was unfortunately a disappointment.

Locals and visitors, please do visit this place underground because is worthed every Euro spent... altough a bit on the pricey side.... but again... you will see why!! Sushi is one of the best ever tasted and presentation is something to remember with a shot. Reservation is a must for week-ends!!!Thank'you so much!

A nice, small sushi restaurant: correct food, fair prices, friendly people. Also take-away. If you love sushi, you should definitely try this place!

We visited Alba with my husband's company and dined here one evening. The atmosphere was city, but with 40 guests in the cellar brick-walled rooms it got quite warm without proper ventilation. And acoustics weren't the best. The appetizer--truffle flan in cheese fondue--was served in ceramic crocks kept warm with tea lights. This was the evening's highlight, a yummy cheese soup/fondue with a small fragrant omelett floating in the middle. If we could, we would have licked the bowl clean. Extremely good and worthy of being a main dish. The pasta main course was nothing special, but we enjoyed the tiramisu dessert. Service was ok, they could easily have had 1 or 2 more service personnel for such a large group.

Michelin prices but not Michelin quality. Found setting a bit stuffy. Service though pleasant didnât find genuine. Amuse Bouche was bland. Starter of king crab was amazing as was the scallops. Should have stopped there. Risotto too rich and fettuccine though cooked just right also bland. Tooth fish not fresh with stringy texture and overpowered by coconut. Deer steak cooked properly but the sauce was too rich and took away from the herb flavours on the meat. Broccoli excessively covered in saltGood wine recommendation. Good breads to start Think maybe the star rating should not make for complacence but to strive harder for higher levels of culinary excellence
