Brasserie à ngbåtsbryggan is a new restaurant located in the Eastern Harbour right by the water in Mariehamn. From your table you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea while you absorb the amazing atmosphere. The food is prepared in a show kitchen where
This place is eye-wateringly expensive (especially for British customers right now) but the food is mostly fantastic and the service is also very good. We loved the interior of the restaurant too. The quantities of most things we ordered were enormous. We ordered the seafood platter for 3, for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, but we think the 2 person one would have been sufficient for us (especially as we had a couple of starters too). The "chocolate pralines" for dessert were, however, a total rip off: â¬7 for two small chocolates (the sort you get in a chocolate box) and a couple of strawberries, on a plate. That's ridiculous, sorry. Notably this is also the first Finnish restaurant we have been to which bucked the refreshing Finnish practice of discouraging tipping - our waiter explicitly told us how to add a tip onto the card bill, and the restaurant rings a big bell whenever they get a tip.

Newly built restaurant influenced by classic French design. The seafood platter is our speciality but we also offer a number of other choices including meat, fish and vegetarian alternatives.
Ãventyrs Golf offer varoety of food (from pizza to steak). We had peppersteaks - which were catastrophic. The pepper sauce did not have any pepper in it - the steaks were overdone and tasteless - salad was bare without any taste. And what worst - there is no wine selection.
Where to eat European food in Aland Island: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We had a lunch in Galeasen with friends. Food as self was very good, even delicious. I had a lamb hamburger, my wife fish. However our timing was bad, one chef had just left and another was coming soon. It took ages to have our dishes. Beautiful views by the guest harbour!

We visited this restaurant twice during our holiday in Mariehamn because they had great outdoor play place for our kid, children buffet (1 e per age year) and good sized portion with good flavoring for us adults. It's also next to the harbour so you could enjoy the view while eating. The place is nicely decorated inside.
