Karina Restaurant, which serves the most delicious Aegean mezes and rich selection of seafood, is flocked by the comers to Alacati. Karina reminding you of a Greek Restaurant on an island serves not only seafood such as fresh, delicious calamari, shrimp,
We were attracted by this fish restaurant during a walk in the center of Alacati. The restaurant is small and most tables are outdoor along a lateral road.We tried: 4 meze (cheese-rolls, grilled calamari, fava and green salad), a grilled sea bream to share as main course (really too small for two persons!) and one pudding with mastic-dondurma. We paid 195 Turkish lira (approx. 50 €).Prices are a little bit too high compared to the average.Food tasty but the portions were quite scarce.Have a look around before to decide....

2 Kapı or İki Kapı (meaning 'two doors' in Turkish) is a newly opened restaurant in the hip Haci Memis district of Alacati. As several TA contributors correctly observed, 2 Kapı is not cheap, but definitely not more expensive than its many competitors which serve mediocre food with indifferent service. I strongly recommend the appetizers which are displayed on the big communal table at the entrance of the restaurant, as well as grilled calamari in humus sauce. Everything we tasted was simply excellently prepared and delicious. Assuming (and hoping) that 2 Kapı will also be around next year while maintaining its current quality standards, my wife and I are sure that this restaurant will be one of the top dining places in Alacati.
Wonderful little restaurant with excellent food and service. Tremendous value for money. Fish is the only option, but quality is really good. Calamari every bit as good as the much more expensive Ferdi Baba.

Visited this place a few times in one weekend. Very relaxed atmosphere. Personal is also very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want to relax, drink and eat good food. Great place. Would absolutely visit again.

We went as the setting looked incredible which was the case. However, upon arriving we found there was no menu and we were asked to come and look at the fresh fish. We don't know alot about fish / price but the owner was very aggressive in pushing fish and mezes on us and much more food than we would eat. We backed out of the fish and choose shrimp instead as well as calamari for 4. These guys serve us 4 individual servings of calamari with each dish being enough for 4. The shrimp did not come but were on the bill. We ordered drinks with no idea about the price. Avoid this place at all costs. Stay in Alcati.Hi. Could you please be more specific about the restaurant you ve been and make sure it s us? Because what you experienced feels so against our restaurant. There are other resraurants which call themselves Niyazi. Did you dine in the one in Plage Isolee? I am the owner and i dont recall such conversations or servings..Please help us with it.Thanks.

The only good (but not best) thing here is location. The rest is all just three stars - food is truly disappointing, the only tasty thing is one or two meze items. The meats and calamari are very average. The service is slow and disjointed- you have to ask several times, remind many times (for example for water. And the calamari took extra 30 minutes on top of the 25 minutes it normally took them to prepare meats - they say because they changed the oil, and I strongly suspect because they simply forgot). Servers are always rushed, it's like you are at some cheap high-volume cafe. They didn't have green tea after initially saying they have it, so brought 7-8 other types of unrelated teabags - e.g., lemongrass, etc. So basically a party of four left very disappointed and dissatisfied, and would have asked to speak to the manager if the bill were to be higher than $64.37 we paid (which includes taxes and 10% mandatory tip).

Even though I made a reservation in person earlier t that night, and asked that I wanted to pay that night's bill with my international credit card to make a kind gesture to my friend, [My credit card was a visa card by the way] and although they promised to cause no problems with the payment time, they ruined my night, and embarrassed me. In fact, they offered to take my credit card to go to the nearest ATM to withdraw some Turkish Liras from my account! The food was moderate, after causing so much trubble and offering such an absurd thing, they were not very friendly either.

We needed a place with access to a plug for a laptop and wanted to sit outside at the water at the same time. The owners/staff didn’t only greet us with handshake, they made everything possible. The octopus was the best, the salad very fresh and good and meze fantastic. A huge variety also. Plus the personnel is always in for a joke. Beautiful location and good times! Will come back!

The restaurant is located within the heart of Alacati, along a pedestrian only cobblestoned street. On the day we visited in mid September, only outdoor seating was on offer, and their garden makes a beautiful setting for a meal.We tried the banaganoush and grilled calamari starters, and the monkfish and prawn tagliatelle mains. Our toddler had some kofte with rice. The food was pretty good, and the monkfish (apparently a bestseller) was excellent! The calamari was also quite enjoyable. The prawn and the kofte were decent enough, although relatively less exciting. The dessert options were lacking so we skipped it. Service was pretty quick. With a couple of glasses of wine, our bill came to 550 lira (£80). Quite an enjoyable meal overall. I’d give them 4.5* if I could.
Amazing view and sunset, delicius fish and mezes...
