Visited Captain Moonlite as a last minute idea last Friday. Had a really lovely meal, with great service and amazing views, no complaints at all. The next day, my husband asked how our bill had come to so much and we worked through everything we had ordered, itemising it. Sadly one of the items we originally ordered, was sold out, but it appears despite this, we were charged for it anyway, which is in very poor taste. So nice, but check your bill. I even tipped, which has really irritated me.Thank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback. Whilst Iâm delighted to hear you enjoyed your meal, I am terribly sorry that you were overcharged, it was certainly not intentional. As mentioned the item that was sold out should not have been on the bill. We would have no problem refunding the amount if you could kindly email me at [email protected] to arrange. Purchased a few burgers, chips, potato cakes and flake during our weekend stay. Very happy with the quality and taste of the food. Great service too. Busy during school holidays but busy means good. Have been here a few times and never disappointed.
