First I will like to start with the customer service it was great, really friendly and helpful. The food was exquisite; Especially the plaintain soup it is my wife's favorite. plenty of choices to choose from. the price is just right. the atmosphere it was really good, it feels really comfy.
Grandma is on Route #2 km 135.5 heading north towards Aguadilla. Restaurant is classified as a steakhouse but we opted for the local dishes. The service was excellent, friendly and fast. We ordered aranitas (plantain friters), mofongo Y chicken, and mofongo with crab. The servings were delicious, generous and delightful. To drink I orered a coconut Mojito. WOW! Although I consider myself a sissy drinker (one drink is all I can take), this was so delicious that I thought I could skip eating and drink more. No I didn't, but have tried to duplicate the experience. I must return someday to savor the sweetness and joy of such deliciousness.

A casual elegant place were you can enjoy seafood, steaks, pizza and local food.
Stopped here for lunch and food was amazing. We had Fish Tacos as Starters and they were good. I had Mofongo de Yuca stuffed with Churrasco, Pork, Chicken, Bacon and Chorizo, called El Cinco Estrellas. Delicious. My girl had Chillo Frito, the small one, she loved it too. Overall was a great lunch.
Deco Fine Cuisine Offering a creative menu designed by Chef Josué DÃaz and an impressive art déco design, our a-la-carte restaurant is a culinary destination on its own. Daily specials feature local ingredients, including the freshest fish in the market a
NAME: Deco Fine Cuisine Restaurant at Rincon of the SeasGENERAL: In researching all the restaurants in Rincon, I noted their seafood mofungo, but it was way down my list (not fresh seafood). A rainstorm made us experience this marvelous dish. I now consider this restaurant a premier one in Rincon.TITLE: âUnexpected Excellenceâ [Tripadvisor, review #40, 1 March 2014]TELEPHONE: +1 (787) 823-7500; FAX: 787-823-7501; Toll Free: 1-866 2RINCON [+1 (866) 274-6266] WEB PAGE: http://www.rinconoftheseas.com/home.php RESERVATIONS: yesHOURS OF OPERATION: 6-10 pmLOCALITY: Road 115, km 12.2, Aguada, PR 00602 LATITUDE/LONGITUDE: 18°19'47âN/67°15'1âWDIFFICULTY LOCATING: easyPARKING: Free, easy, and ampleOWNER: Arnaldo RuizCHEF: Josué DÃazGREETING: Excellent. We called ahead to see if we could go there in shorts (all we had). Also, asked if we could enter the restaurant from the hotel to avoid the rain. They opened their back door to the hotel and gave us directions. They were very kind and gracious about this special attention.LAYOUT: The front door is off the central garden of the hotel. There are a number of tables in a rather large room. On the far side of the room is a large barAMBIANCE: Nice, elegantDECORATIONS: well doneATMOSPHERE: Sophisticated formalSUGGESTED ATTIRE: Probably should have been semi-formal, if not formal. They kindly welcomed us in shorts.AIR-CONDITIONED: yes. Since we were in shorts, they gave us a table out of the main air-conditioning vents. It was still a fine table.FURNITURE: good wooden tables and chairsBAR: Full service. Their wine selection is supposed to be extensive and good. They do not have beer on tap. WATER: Served in a nice glass. Not crystal, but good quality. Refilled by pitcher.CUISINE: Puerto Rican and InternationalMENU FORMAT: formalMENU ITEMS: This is not extensive, but has some interesting items. I would like to try their stuffed churrasco. WAITRESS: Excellent. They had many attentive staff people. They lit a cute, little lantern on our table.BREAD: A semi-hard, elongate bun served with rosemary butter.APPETIZERS: We did not order any.SALAD: Listed as âChef Saladâ [3] on the menu, ($7) but we knew that it was really a âSalad by the Chef.â Amusing. They need to work a little bit on their English translations. Spring mix, calamari olives (too few), red onion, Parmesan cheese, balsamic vinaigrette. They gave us an additional salad plate to split the salad.ENTRÃE: There was lots of excellent seafood: lobster, shrimp, mussels, squid, and fish. The excellent cassava mofongo with bacon was crispy. They gave us a second large bowl in a plate to share the dish. ($24) This was truly outstanding. SIDES: There were no sides necessary with this dish, but they have the usual on their menu.SALT AND PEPPER: on the tableSILVERWARE: heavy, high quality, matched stainless, with a scallop pattern on the base. Only a dinner fork and knife was in the table setting. They added a salad fork and a tablespoon after we ordered. [1,2]SERVING TIME: The salad came quickly and the mofungo shortly after we finished the salad.COST COMPARISON: For a seafood mofungo, $24 was a reasonable price. For this truly astonishing dish, the price was remarkable. Considering that the 1 dish served us both, it was actually economical. BILL: Accurate, well handled, and charged to our room.PROBLEMS: I enquired about âDinner Under the Starsâ by e-mail 3 days before we arrived. I have still not received the information. May be next time.RECOMMENDATIONS: [A] Update your menu online. It now only lists a dinner menu for The Royal Palm Café (which no longer serves dinner). [B] Medalla and 1 or 2 of the craft beers from the new brewery in Rincon should be added on tap. [C] Add your wine list to the Hotel Book in the Rincon of the Seas rooms. [D] Look up the definition and recipes for âChef Saladâ online. And then either change the name or the recipe in your menu. HISTORY: This is rather confusing, but it seems that the Royal Palm Café was the only restaurant at Rincon of the Seas for some time. Now they only serve breakfast buffets and lunch (also weekend buffets) and the Deco Restaurant now serves dinner. This change has been updated in the Hotel Book, but not online.FOOTNOTES:[1] I must say I prefer this austerity. Most fancy restaurants start with a full place setting and them remove the pieces you do not need. I have always thought this was a negative way to do things. I prefer their adding method.[2] I am very sorry to complain, but a tablespoon is a serving piece and should never be used in place of a soupspoon. [3] A âChef Saladâ or âChefâs Saladâ has hard-boiled egg and 1 or 2 kinds of meat besides greenery. The Chef does not seem familiar with the correct definition. Your salad is great, but just change the name.

We saw the reviews on The Atlantis Fresh Lobster Restaurant on trip advisor. Seventeen reviews all "excellent". First we had to wait to order our drinks. Then awhile to find out they had no fresh lobsters. There were only 8 people in the restaurant the whole night. We were told they had lobster meat so we ordered the lobster in garlic butter. It took a long time and when it came it was a "little" lobster meat in a cup with butter and red sweet peppers. We also ordered a bottle of wine $29. The sides we okay. When the bill came it was $190!!!!! This meal wasn't worth half of that. Skip this place...whoever wrote the 17 reviews must have been drunk!!!T Brown

I had dinner with my family just before sunset and the views were great. I ordered the churrasco with rice and beans and it was well seasoned. Every one else enjoyed the food and service. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to go for a nice dinner.

My husband and I shared a fresh 2.5 pounds Cartucho fish. It was so delicious; perfectly seasoned and cooked (a la plancha). This is definitely not the kind of seafood restaurant that buys its âfreshâ fish from Samâs or Costco. The side dishes -mofongo and arañitas- were also perfectly executed. The service was outstanding. At all times our waiter was very nice to us, on top of things and made great recommendations. The restaurant is right on the beach. You can see, hear and feel the waves crashing. We will definitely come back.
