My brother and I went to Puerto Marqués for a day and we enjoyed our stay in this lovely restaurant in Playa Majahua (based on another friend's recommendation), we had a superior service, the seafood soup was amazing. The owner Ms. Carmen is a perfect host. Definitely a beautiful place to visit If you want a great meal at an incredibly reasonable price, you have to try Don Cameron.Muy agradecidos por regalarnos su valioso tiempo para comentar, nos da mucho gusto saber que todo fue de su agrado, los recuerdo perfectamente y fue un placer atenderlos y conversar con ustedes, Dios los bendiga siempre!!!

location is kinda in the middle of nowhere! view of the beach isnt great. but the fresh seafood was INCREDIBLE! brought the fresh choices to our table to select what we wanted. best red snapper we both have ever had!! After dinner went for a walk on the beach and left our table for just a moment and a dog took our leftover fish LOL !!! luckily we were done, and this is common on the beaches in mexico!

You get what you expect, this is a higher end chain restaurant with good food, an excellent service, a decent wine cart (given you are by the beach) but yes, it is very expensive for what it is. Went the other afternoon. At 4:00, the place was packed. Lots of locals. There were 5 of us. The 3 guys had a whole snapper with garlic. Cooked perfectly--nice and crispy on the outside. Us girls---one had shrimp sauteed in garlic and the other had shrimp in a 4 cheese sauce. Also had shrimp tacos (soft shell), seafood tacos (fried), seafood cerviche--everything was great. Usually, in Acapulco they overcook the shrimp, so they are dry and tough--not here, they were perfect. Very clean and service was great. It is a very large place but has a large parking lot. Will return.

We went to this restaurant for the seafood but the atmosphere, with many rooms to choose from and gorgeous wooden tables, was a plus. Our server and his colleagues were very attentive and friendly. The music was a bit loud at times but we had a delightful lunch. They have chips and wonderful salsas on the table when you arrive. Don't miss the pineapple salsa! Note that parking is across the street.

We chose this spot for Airchefâs birthday dinner based upon the recommendation of our guide Roberto Alarcon. We were not disappointed. The fusion cuisine, a blend of Thai and Latin American, was delicious. Even more impressive than the food was the attentive and personalized service of our wait team, Rodrigo and Carlos. These gentlemen would be at home in any Michelin 5-star establishment. Top it off with a birthday dessert from the management and a gorgeous view of the Acapulco sunset and it was the perfect evening.

A friend and I had dinner this evening at La Concha, a friendly neighborhood restaurant, and fell in love with it instantly. The staff made us feel like regulars---popular regulars right away! They steered us through the menu chock full of tempting choices. My companion isn't fond of seafood, but was happy to find tuna steaks listed while I couldn't resist trying a shrimp dish I'd never tried before. We were both delighted with our choices, and my "no seafood for me" friend gladly took home his para llevar to enjoy tomorrow. If you're a resident, business regular, or tourist, do yourself a favor and stop by for a delicious meal. But don't wait too late 'cause La Concha closes at 7:00 pm. Get there in time for fun and fabulous dining!

Followed a recommendation from our condo. Absolutely delicious dining. First we were treated by homemade Salsa made to our specifications by Beto. Although I do not prefer Mexican medium, I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer along with the homemade chips. Beco directed us to a platter of shrimps and lobster. Served with a Coconut dipping sauce was scrumptious. Best coconut and grilled shrimp I have enjoyed. Pacific Lobster was sweet. Beverages included a Victoria Cervaza and Lime juice. Dessert was provided and included both coconut and Passion Fruit Mezcal. I would recommend this restaurant ti anyone staying in the Acapulco Diamante neighborhood.

So leaving this review, I saw the "pretentious and not good" review from April. This restaurant is exceedingly good - both in the food, and priced in line or cheaper than the other high end restaurants in Acapulco. And through several visits, this level of excellence has been consistent, so I don't understand the negativity. Our service, helmed by Candido and supported by Carlos and Yonathan, was attentive and well paced for a relaxing dinner. From tasty pre-dinner cocktails to an incredible dessert, all was top notch. Yes the food is presented artfully - that is the point of going someplace that is trying to impress on you the effort they are making. But it does more than look the part - the tastes were fresh, interesting and unique. The highlights were the ceviche verde starter, the asada negro and the dulce de leche desert. All went well with a bottle from a wine list that had enough to provide choice but not be voluminous. Between the spectacular view, the service and the food, this restaurant rates as high as I can give it and them some. I would tell any and all who want a special night out to go to Origen.Good afternoon dear RFNJ, It is a pleasure writing you from Encanto.Thank you very much for sharing your experience at Origen with other travelers. I had been wanting to try this place for a couple years. We went to the new location on the Costera across from El Sol de Acapulco. We all had the shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese. 8 large, delicious, sweet scrumptious shrimp were on my plate. One of our diners also had a shrimp and pulpo cocktail. The small could easily be shared. The menu had an excellent variety. I will definitely return to this Restaurant.Thank you for visit us, we'll be waiting for you to come back, to share incredible moments and a lot of delicious seafood.Wish you nothing but success.
