Reviews on Seafood food in Aalborg, Jutland, Denmark. If Aalborg were a house, the real estate agent would sell it as "loaded with potential." The 1,000-year-old city is Denmark’s fourth largest, and boasts a Viking past, over 300 restaurants, a casino, lively nightlife and great shopping. The zoo breeds rare Siberian Tigers, and the Waterland and Tivoliland make it a great place for families to visit. Aalborg isn’t a hotspot for foreigners, yet. But we’ll watch as the waterfront of this busy port continues to gentrify, with expectations it will be one in the future.

Karma Sushi is a chain of sushi restaurants in Denmark with high quality fusion sushi. Karma Sushi is located in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg and Frederikshavn.
I visited Karma Sushi on a rainy Wednesday evening and it was most definitely worth braving the weather for. We ordered some edamame for starters. There was a wait between our starters and main course coming out, but we were given a complimentary dish to keep us going. That was a nice touch from the kitchen I felt. When the mains did arrive, they were so worth it. Photos donât do justice to how amazing the food looked. And it tasted even better - we went for the Roll Premium Selection and it was divine.Service was very friendly, though we did struggle to catch someoneâs eye at times when we wanted to order more drinks.I loved the decor - from the matching plates, cups and serving dishes, to the origami decorations hanging from the ceiling above us, it all made for a lovely atmosphere. My only slight criticism is the menu - not the items on it, but the actual physical menu! They give you iPads to read the menu from, instead of traditional paper/card menus. You donât order via the iPad or anything special. It seems quite pointless and a waste of resources, as youâre basically looking at a PDF of the menu on an iPad as opposed to a piece of paper. Hi D2271HHlouisefThank you taking the time to make this kind and thorough review of your evening at our restaurant. We are really happy to hear how thrilled you were over the sushi. Hopefully, you will come and visit us again soon.Have a nice day. Best regards.Frederik, Karma Sushi

My partner and I went to this restaurant on Sept, 8th 2017. The ambiance wasvery pleasant and the staff efficient and curteous. This place specialises in fish, and so we had plenty of it. I had mussels, which were very nice and - for main - eels cooked the Danish way, which were excellent. My partner had lemonsoles and he too thought they were very good. The meal was accompanied by some good quality white wine.It was not cheap, for two startes, two baskets of bread, two mains and two bottles of wine we spent over £160. But the quality and quantity were both good; there was plenty to eat.The only (minor) criticism that i have is that, for that price, it would have been nicer to have fabric serviettes, rahter than paper ones. But still, an excellent experience and I would go back again. For sure!

We went to this restaurant for new year dinner. The dinner was very good, and the wines was good. A little bit noisy, and busy staff. But all in all very good. We may come back.Tak for din fine anmeldelse. Vi ønsker jer et godt nytår.Vh KasperRestaurant Provence
