Things to do in Wick
A family run business by mother and son serving fresh quality seafood, steak and fastfood takeaway. Car parking available at the front of the building. Sit in or takeaway the choice is yours.
We had a takeaway of haddock and chips from Northern Sole and really enjoyed our meal. The fish was excellent with lovely crispy batter and very good chips. Good service and a reasonable price. Would certainly buy from here again if we ever make a return visit to the area.

Telford's Cafe is a bright, modern and relaxing Cafe in the area of Pulteneytown in Wick. We use local ingredients as much as we can. All our home baking is made on site each day, freshly prepared for you! Telford's is a lovely cafe for breakfast, lunch o
Popped in here for a quick bite to eat after getting of the ferry. The soup is very good and a nice cup of tea all round was just what we needed.

Homemade food, lovingly prepared with locally sourced fine produce. Every meal served at Puldagon Farm is homemade and uses premium local or British produce.
We visited on a Friday for lunch. Nice to see plenty of tables occupied, a good sign. There is an attractive restaurant upstairs with good views over the surrounding countryside but as one of our group has limited mobility we ate downstairs where there are several tables. The food was very good, we had soups, sandwiches and sweets. The sweets were particularly good.. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful but at times service could have been slightly smoother. As the place is newly opened they may just need a bit more time to hone the way things are run. Will definitely visit again.

A great stay here while passing through and visiting a group of friends. The room was large and modern with free wifi in the hotel too. Breakfast was the only meal I took each day but it was fresh and delicious. There was a decent selection on the evening meal menu and it seemed a popular choice for locals and visitors alike to eat.Parking was free and plentiful within a minute of the front door. It took me about three minutes in the other direction to be in the centre of Wick.I will definitely use this great hotel again when visiting. Thank you

We were staying in Wick for a couple of nights and found this online before we arrived and booked ahead. The staff were friendly but the decor was slightly ageing. The food was good but some dishes not available. The price wasn't too bad and we didn't have to wait too long but the chips, although good when served very quickly seemed to become limp and lost there crispness. The fish and scampi certainly tasted fresh and we both would go back.Hello AndrewRWilson,Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to the Norseman, we are happy to hear that over all you enjoyed your stay with us and that you would come back!We currently have an ongoing maintenance and improvement programme throughout the hotel and will take your comment regarding the decor on board. In regards to the chips, we wish you had brought this to our attention at the time, we would of been happy to provide you with a fresh portion. Safe onward travels.

I keep meaning to go more often but thoroughly enjoyed my recent trip to Morag's Café. Has a vibrant atmosphere and love the added areas with games...some of which brought me back to hazy summer days at the sideshows. Ok....I'm a pain I know but maybe keep some soya milk for my coffee if you can? I can take some in myself I guess! Loved the food and did find something vegan.

After an hour or so in the museum we were less than 1/3 through. The photos on the wall in this cafe were from the same collection So the atmosphere continues-Great food good choices for the family and generous portions. I loved the cullen Skink after being disappointed elsewhere

World record holder for the shortest street in the world.
Sunday lunch sirloin beef with trimmings and Yorkshire Pudding. Many get it wrong as itâs often over cooked, but this was spot on. Just like you would have at any really good restaurant but better as the meat was reared just 3 miles away plus lovely freshly cooked vegetables. These people take pride in their food and it shows. Well done and thank you. We will be back.Dear RichoakThank you so much for your kind comments! The chefs do a great job with the local ingredients , we agree!Look forward to welcoming you back.Ellie
