Whenever we visit Dunoon we never leave without having fish and chips from here. The fish is gorgeous, always beautifully cooked with crispy batter. Gets really busy and everything is cooked fresh so expect a wait but boy is it worth the wait.

We are a family run local Bar / Restaurant selling local food and drink.
We visited The Holy Loch Inn following the good reviews on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. Whilst on holiday with our two dogs we were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch and, being a chilly day, eating outdoors was not an option! We were given a very warm welcome by the staff and there was something on the menu to suit all tastes. We chose the beef roast, which was lovely. Thanks to the staff who made us so welcome and cheered up an otherwise dreary day!

I enjoyed another lovely meal here but unfortunately was very disappointed with the behaviour displayed from the bar maid, seemed like she didnât want to be there and everything seemed too much hassle for her, has definitely put me off returning

Visited with my mum during our trip to Benmore Botantic Gardens. It was extremely busy with sit and takeaway; tables filled up quickly but we managed to get a table. We both had sandwiches which were fresh and tasty and were served with crisps and salad. We would have loved to try the Giant Meringues and cream which looked incredible but just didnât have the space. Toilets were spotless. Staff were friendly and kept their humour despite the busyness. Would recommend.

We had lunch here while at The Mod. The restaurant is nice and modern and the food was very good - we had starters of haggis followed by steak pie and fish and chips.

Serving traditional fish and chips 'old school' in brown paper since the summer of '76. Small portions available on most items and reduced prices at lunchtimes. Check out our specials board when you are in.
One of the best chip shops ever. Managed to finally get a table in this very small restaurant. Super staff friendly and helpful. Food was very fresh and very tasty.

This place is easily missable, and doesnât stand out as much as it should! Inside decor is classy and calm, beautiful fresh flowers and candles on the table booths and tables to choose from, gorgeous. Service from the lovely employees is very professional, kind and helpful! Food, oh my life, there are no words to describe how delicious it is! Home made chips, the fish, oh my just no words! This place is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. Isnât badly priced either! Will definitely return whilst in the area :)

First time visit and it was buzzing. With a varied menu that is slightly weighted towards seafood there is something for everyone. Our party had both the seafood and the meat options, and all of us were very impressed with the meals prepared for us. Well cooked, well presented and incredibly tasty. Will certainly return when next in the area, and would recommend it to anyone.
