not a lot to say, middsomer and many people, staff not too interested in serving anyone, nearly all the tables had dirty crockery, glasses etc and were forced to move them oufself. Food very average and about what I expected from this place, sorry not recomended.
I knew when walking into Magasinet that my culinary experience was going to be very positive. What started out as an old warehouse on the Västerås Harbor, has now been transformed into a very unique restaurant. The owner was onsite and told us that restaurant had just opened. He also owns the Pråm, a barge, turned restaurant along side Magasinet. The food was out of this world. I took a picture of what our meal looked like when it arrived. It tasted as good as it looked! I can honestly say my Gös (fish) lunch was the best meal I had during my one month stay in Sweden. The small open sandwiches were too good to pass up....wow! Do yourself a favor, try the Magasinet next time you travel to Västerås. Enjoy your meal.

I do hope the staff has been hired to a sudden outbreak of a sudden illness among the ordinary staff beacuse this bunch was uninterested and uneducated on the verge of being funny in a sort of hidden camera-way. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant as such is placed beaútifully and smack in the centre, which made me give it two rather than the one point it deserves.

Varda is one of the restaurant with the nicer ambience in Vasteras. In the summer the restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating. The menu consist of both meat and fish and is Swedish inspired. Usually the also have fish from the nearby Lake Malaren. Service is better than average.

We found that the fish this time cod came from the freezer without us being informed.Certainly it was Monday but it belongs to the basics that on this type of restaurant it informs if you do not serve fresh fish.In addition, the visit was a really good restaurant visit, beautiful decor, attentive staff, and a lovely appetizer, white asparagus in season.

Only came for drinks, but really enjoyed the place.Friendly and service-minded staff. Sitting out on the balcony stretching over the river was super cosy. The only thing we regret with this place is that we did not have dinner here: the couple next to us were served a BIG grill plate and really seemed to enjoy.

I enjoy expensive dinners and I expect the service to be the best, this was ridiculous from beginning to end. Not a smile, just a lousy attitude from the girl who âgreetedâ us to the two waiters who âservedâ us. Food was okay but not worth the money. VästerÃ¥s, step your game up. Not coming back to this place again and telling everybody who is willing to listen not to waste their money.

Have a lunch or dinner, stay and party all night long when this restaurant turns into a night club. The food is nothing exceptional, but still good. Upstairs is the real night club, downstairs is where one can sit and dine or drink, depending on time of the day. The environment is lovely, being in the old parts of the town, with other night clubs and restaurants just a few meters away.

Went to Frank with a colleague. It was our 3rd time there and with our ever increasing expectations we were not disappointed. The food was excellent as well as the drink pairing. Our server spent a lot of time with us explaining the dishes and giving info on the restaurant. When we visit Frank we always âlet it rideâ. They choose everything for you with minimal input - meat or fish for the main if the input. Only regret - we enjoyed too much of the grappa after dinner slowing us down the next day. Weâll be back Frank.
