Our concept is quite simple: Weâve decided to have 8 courses available on our menu, which are changed every three weeks. This way weâre able to focus fully on each dish â and every ingredient. The goal is to make the very best of every single ingredient i
Nice atmosphere. We had 4 courses with the accompanying wine menu. All courses were delicious - very different from the standard restaurant fare, which was very stimulating. The wines (and the beer) fit the food perfectly. We are looking forward to return.

Been to this place several times on the weekends - just for the brunch. So good compared to what else is served in Aalborg. The view is also nice.

We take great pride in making classical Danish smørrebrød - added a lot of love. The smørrebrød is of course always freshly prepared, and made of the best local ingredients. We roast, jam and stir from early morning, so that you can enjoy the Danish smørr
This is the place to visit for traditional danish smørrebrød. The atmosphere, personal and food is great. Huge variety of smørrebrød, snaps and beer. The whole family really enjoyed it. Best smørrebrød I ever had.

Grill buffet with something to suit every taste. Every evening, our meat carvers are at the grill, ready to present the various cuts of meat to you. There are at least 15 cuts of meat, and you can eat as much as you like of everything. Some of the buffet
Meat selection is fantastic. Duck; beef, pork and kangaroo are all available. Salad bar is also well equipped. They have ice cream that is not part of the buffet. As there were no bowls or spoons near the ice cream machine I used a salad bowl and started a bit of controversy. Apparently bowls and spoons are only handed out by the server and I disrupted the plan. When I asked for a spoon the server promptly chastised me for using a salad bowl for the all you can eat ice cream. Kind of funny experience.

We came in for a quick drink and found that the drinks menu offers happy hour until midnight!Quite unusual - drinks were well prepared and presented by a young and very friendly waiting staff. Good place for a fun or relaxing time before or after dinner. Hello, Thank you very much for the review :-) We hope to see you again at Cafe Vi.2 - Maybe you will find some new drinks at the menu? Have a great summer! Best regards, Pernille Supervisor at Cafe Vi.2.

dinner restaurant by the sea with lovely food. Placed in the harbour in the middle of the town of Aalborg
What a location - directly on the fjord. We got a great window seat, with superb view. The quality of meat, and its preparation, was outstanding. Quick and friendly service.Too bad we were surrounded by groups of drunk, noisy guests - the atmosphere on the ship itself is genuine, elegant and cosy.We will go there again, but not in weekend.

So far this is the best places I have found for Danish Smørrebrød in Aalborg. Great food, food size portions, good service and a nice "local" seating.I will definitively be back and if you are looking for traditional Danish food including Smørrebrød you should visit too.

Went for dinner mid week to celebrate our daughters 25th birthday. The first time visiting Applause. The whole dining experience was absolutely wonderful. The food was full of inspiration and presentation was a real delight. The 10 course extravaganza was divine. Our waiter Nicolas was great and extremely knowledgeable, especially with regards to the wine. Will definitely be coming back and look forward to another culinary treat.
