Our cuisine creates different menus deriving from local seasonal ingredients. Guests usually stay seated a while whilst dining and merely enjoy the moment. The view contributes in every way. We work with local distributers and are members of "Väst- svensk
We just love Fiskebackskil and have visited more or less every summer over the last 5-6 years. This restaurant (and hotel) has a great location with a beautiful setting for sunset. Should have been the perfect place for a gourmet restaurant. However, the meny is limited, the wine list we asked for never came, so we ended up with the recommended pairing (which was ok), and the food was ok, but northing more. And the service did not seem to be professional, but untrained summer help. We must admit we much prefer Brygghuset in the guest harbour, much more charming even if you miss the beautiful sunset. We have had better meals here in G before, so hopefully they can increase their ambitions again in the future?

We went to this restaurant after arriving with our sailboat to this lovely Barbour and had lunch there. We got a nice place with magnificent view on the upper terrace and chose the fish of the day, which was ling fillet, prepared very tasty and with a twist. For just around 140 sek a real bargain. We really enjoyed the lunch there. This obviously is a restaurant with a very fine cuisine. Would not have guessed to find such place in the laid back harbour of Grundsund . Forget Smögen... sail to Grundsund instead

We stopped for lunch at this Café during a tour with our motorcycle club. My boyfriend and I decided to share two plates: 4 sorters sill på planka (4 kinds of marinated herring with freshly baked bread, cheese and new potatoes) and pocherad torskrygg med citronsås (boiled cod with lemon sauce, harricot verts, broccoli, new potatoes and fresh shrimps). It was delicious, much higher quality than we expected. The portion was huge for Swedish style. And the view was adorable!Do not miss this lovely place next time you visit Lysekil!

A very cozy pub, I visited during Oktoberfest so there was a good party going on. Not many choices on the menu for vegetarians, only pizza. Service was excellent!

While riving around this part of the coast of Sweden, we found ourselves here around lunch time on a Saturday. The town seemed to be subdued without not many visible places to eat. Saw this place open and we had a most pleasant lunch of snails and a pasta dish with a good cold beer. The table service was very good and efficient. We enjoyed our lunch very much!

We stop by here when in Lysekil for a cake and coffee, or light meal. The atmosphere both inside and out is the highlight. It has a couple nice rooms with nice decor, and cook books on shelves for checking out. The back garden is also nice if you are in Lysekil on a nice day.

Lovely food with friendly, relaxed but attentive service. It is not a long menu , but with the quality of food and choice, that only goes to help. Fully recommended for visitors to Skaftö and LysekilNote that we stayed st the adjacent Slippens hotel to complete s lovely weekend treatThank You and welcome back!

Fish and seafood restaurant with breathtaking view. Open daily between midsummer and 20th August. Open year-round during weekends.
This restaurant sits at the far end of town, in the old portarea. It has nice seaviews and the menu is exactly what youâd expect, fishsoup, shrimpsandwich and a meatdish as lunchchoices. We wanted fresh shrimps and sesfood, which they happily accomodated and served with sides of aioli and, less common, dillemulsion. A side of, nice, glutenfreebread was also served up. Guests keep turning over and this makes service slightly erratic and a bit prone to err. ( we were served regular, rather than non-alcoholic beer, and the table next to ours was offered the meat course instead of fishsoup. This was corrected and apologized for) included is a nice maritime salad, herring and veggies buffet, and coffee after your meal.
