This hotel restaurant is currently trying to attract outside guests by serving Angus beef (unlimited) at a very fair price. All should be good, but its not. The meat itself was pretty good. Had it only been warm! Our wine arrived 5 minutes after our food (and the Pinot Noir had definetely not been in a wine cooler), and around 5 minutes after the wine our kids food arrived (which was, has to be said, good value for money). When you have a restaurant that's not very charming in the decor, and are trying to lure guests in, you simply have to do better.

While staying at the Britannia, we enjoyed a couple of lunches at the Brasserie and the food and service were good. The menu choice is not extensive, but there is sufficient variety for most tastes. Fish and seafood predominate with some good Danish specialities and very fresh ingredients. Service was good, the bill not expensive (although, irritatingly, a credit charge surcharge is applied; maybe a Danish thing - the taxi did it too).

Quite small selection for evening but very nicely presented and well prepared dishes. Not too sophisticated but value for money. Would be nice if they would add a fish main couse to the menu

Loftet, is a restaurant where we emphasize ecology, Danish and local produce. You can choose between 6 and 8 servings, with and without wine menu. 1. Serving is always a glass of bubbles and snacks.
We had a dinner on a Friday. Service was excellent, all the dishes were well explained in English, and the staff were friendly. I went for the 8 courses menu (100 euros) and the food exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.

Try to visit here each year when i am in Esbjerg, this year was no exception and the quality still brilliant. Good menue with some great fresh fish dishes. I had my usual Stjerneskud, which is fried white fish with prawns, caviar, smoked salmon and is so tasty. Will be back again next year

Nice restaurant in the city centre.Location is fine and the menu quite interesting, with some local specialities available.Good quality of the food, taken fish as appetizer and main course, and the service. Price in line with the other restaurants in that area.

Be sure to make your reservation in due time so you won't miss this gastronomical pearl. Both the food and the service is international standard and you are enjoying your food in old low-ceilinged small spaces stuffed with historic atmosphere. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny.

Fajancen, Fano is situated in the heart of the most beautiful village in Denmark - in the middle of Denmark's smallest pedestrian street. Fajancen is both a restaurant, café and antic store and hosting the popular iscremeshop "Soenderho IsCafé" In the Faj
Had the local speciality Bakskuld here for lunch. This was the best Bakskuld i ever had (admit you dont get it many places though......). My wife had the salmon which was also served nicely despite the portion was rather small. The Bakskuld however was a large portion.

In our weekend trip to Fanø this was by clearly the best meal we had. We had fish, veal and cheese. And both the fish and veal where really great. And also the total price was surprising. Well worth a visit if you enjoy food!
