Things to do in Concepcion de Ataco
We were looking for a place to stay at the last minute while visiting the area with my family and my sister-in-law family when came across this place which is not too far from one of the towns. We went in and was very impressed with the small hotel that had a mixture of old and new feel. We were the only one and had no problems getting rooms. The service was excelent, food was great, and the staff was quite friendly, courteous with great sense of humor. We will definitely come back to this place next time we on vacation and in the area!
We are a bistro of typical Salvadoran food with a gourmet touch, we have three main rooms, Bar, wooden hut for private events, and our pergolas where the restaurant is set ...

Lovely little restaurant serving delicious pupusas, brimming with your chosen filling. The sauce is rich and tasty and the slaw is spot on. Both are served in individual little bowls. The hot chocolate and frozen fruit drinks are highly recommended. The staff are friendly.

Nice people very kind, the food is good but in average. A place where to go with the family in a regular El Salvadorian restaurant

We discovered this wonderful restaurant the first day of our stay at Ataco and returned the following day. Menu options are huge, but what fancied us most of all is the wide choice in national cuisine, inclusing the sopa de patas (only on Sunday). Owner is very friendly. Open late (9pm) but might a bit earlier when there are no clients.

The owner Daniel gave me a private tour of his family's coffee plantation. Wow, what an experience. His passion radiates as he described his family's property and how he transformed the property. The cafe is adorable. I am not a coffee drinker despite enjoying learning about coffee. Instead, I had a horchata which was huge and so amazing that I drank the entire drink. I highly recommend stopping by for a great learning experience, food, drink, and respite. Thanks for your visit, we are glad you enjoyed. You are welcome to visit us anytime.Jorge Garza

We were a group of twelve that dined (and stayed) at Jardin de Celeste. Total for dinner was around $170 with tip. I saw some complains on pricing, but as an American, it seemed fair for the quality/quantity of food received.Fare around the table varied, but most went with the churrasco. All and all, very good.
