Bordered by the Kotorosl and Volga rivers, the historic city center of Yaroslavl is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The religious architecture is breathtaking and surreal, especially the emerald-domed Church of Elijah the Prophet and the gilded towers of the Assumption Cathedral. Numerous theaters, a philharmonic, a planetarium and a permanent circus round out the city’s art scene. The object is located on the bank of the great Russian river Volga. Within the walls of the architectural value of The River-Boat Station, the largest restaurant in the city "Vanilla sky" is situated. This is the most romantic place in Yaroslavl! Beautifu
This restaurant is not about meal. The place is about view on Volga river and the state of peace and meditation you can very easily achieve when you are here.

Restaurant "Miles" is a remarkable journey through cousines of different countries.
We had a dinner there ordering salads, soups, meat dishes, coffee and desserts. Everything was delicious, steaks are beyond all praise!

The interior of the restaurant takes us back to the times of Tsar Ivan IV who ruled over Russia in the XVI century. The Moscow feasts of Ivan IV astonished contemporaries with their generosity, abundance and luxury. For you to go back to the epoch of Russ
We entertained two Muscovites for a few days visit to Yaroslavl. Early in our stay, we decided to have dinner here. We were seated at a very cozy booth and treated to wonderful service and fare. The food was very tasty and we had a great dinner. The experience was so good, that our guests opted to return again on our last night in Yaroslavl. The experience was again fantastic and we recommend this place to anyone considering dinner options in the city.Thank you very much.Come to our place one more time. You are very welcome!

Restaurant of Russian and European cuisine in the historical center of Yaroslavl. Creating the âSkazkaâ, we were inspired by the harmony of nature and the dynamism of the city. In the elements of the interior you can recognize the urban surroundings and t
This restaurant and wine bar must be the best place in town.We dined at Skazka last night. Food was very interesting; best ingredients, intelligently and attractively presented. Innovative, but not fiddled-with.Amongst the dishes, all apparently Russian in derivation, but presented in an attractive world-style were: a fine duck pate, interesting and tasty baked beetroot salad, beefcheek ( I think) ground and formed into an up-market burger. Followed by an excellent chocolate dessert with mixed berry ice-cream. Menu is illustrated and self-explanatory.Most staff spoke limited English, but are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The sommelier, Alexei, speaks excellent English and is most helpful, and knowledgeable. Very good and interesting range of wines from everywhere. We drank good German Riesling and a good South African Pinotage. The fit-out of the restaurant is very earthy, warm and welcoming, up- market but casual. The crowd? Us ( Australians in our 60s) , a few Dutch tourists in their 30s. Mostly Russians: families, couples. Good day! Thank you very much for the comment! Itâs very nice when the whole teamâs efforts are appreciated so well by our guests ! We will unfeignedly glad to see you again! Sincerely, restaurantâs team Skazka. Food and Wine

You can experience a Russian vibe restaurant with good food and great service in a smaller city of Russia with much less prices than Moscow or St. Petersburg. Here we tasted the best Borsch during our stay in Russia, Rabbit dish was very tasty, we also tries the pot with tongue and cream which was also delicious. Try their homemade liqueurs.Staff could not speak English but they are nice and great at serving & there is an English menu so don't worryDear Guest,Thank you very much for your kind comment about us on Tripadvisor. Itâs a pleasure to hear that you had a wonderful time in Sobranie. We all hope that you will visit us again in the near future.Best Regards,Sobranie Team

We entered into this tiny restaurant simply because it was late and it was near our hotel. The welcome was both genuine and warm. We noticed an real esthetic accomplishment in the decor while keeping a folkloric atmosphere, so we made a reservation. What we didn't anticipate was the excellence of the food. Everything was clearly home made, fresh with quality ingredients. We hadn't realized that the same traditional dishes could be so significantly better: the bortsch, the pickled vegetables, the herring...and the main dishes were superb. We were five persons and not one of us had a dish that we didn't think was above average. The service was warm, discrete, and smiling. In 10 days in Russia, this has been our best experience so far. We strongly recommend it. It is quite centrally located, just off the quai on the Volga, next to St. Elijah and the museums. We are delighted to make this recommendation to other fellow travellers who know nothing about Yaroslavl and our wandering around ignorantly, as we were!

Been here for lunch. The food is good, and Russian and European. Waiters work professionally. The interior is stylish, made ââwith knowledge of the design, but for my taste, gloomy.

We went here with my wife's family. (I recommend making reservations), and although I have written very positive reviews for several other places that we dined at in Yaroslavl, they all pale in comparison to this exquisite culinary experience. Come hungry, and sample from different portions of the menu. While it is absolutely fine dining, and "expensive", the value here is incredible. The decor is lovely (even if sitting in the deep chairs made me feel a little bit like a child at the grown-up table!), the officiants (servers) are incredible (and the one who served us even spoke english to help me), yes they do have english menus as well.the food.... I dont even know how to describe it because I do not think that there are words to give justice to the masterpieces of art and taste that will be brought to you. We had enough people that we sampled from different areas of the menu, and everything we had was incredible. If you like beet-root salads that are popular in russia, there is as a cold appetizer a form of 'vinigrette ice-cream' that you must try. We had crab dishes, salads, beef, and pork, and literally every dish was incredible. It was hard to save room for desert, but these too were presented beautifully, and with very unique features on each dish. For fine dining in Yaroslavl, I simply can not find a better place. (although there is good competition, and I have tried!)

I had a breakfast here, as it is a restaurant in a hotel, I stayed in. I had a choice of about 7 breakfast. The meal was served quick and tasty. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, it is very well decorated. But there is not a lot of space inside.
