For Polotsk, Gurman is not a bad option. It's clean, its waiters try to be friendly. Yeah, its style is a strange mixture of a hipster cafe with old-fashion Soviet caff, but Polotsk doesn't provide you with a huge choice. My daughter and I were there on a summer rainy day, we ordered borscht, baked liver, baked beef ribs and French fries. Waiting was slightly longer than we expected and the borscht had too less salt. But, everything was OK, except a milk cocktail. Daughter told me it was poor. Large portions - if to compare them with what is served in Muscovy.

I visited this place with my colleague during a business visit in Novopolotsk.We went one evening for dinner to this place. The style of the restaurant is very nice! Also the food was very good. We enjoyed it!

When we came to the restaurant for launch there were no guests at all, so we got pretty good and fast service, besides a coatroom that was not open to leave jackets in Winter and for who knows what reason we got a bill right after ordering drinks, though we did not ask for it. In general, it is an average restaurant.

Nice place, nice location and nice atmosphere. The menu is one of the more diverse in Polotsk. The food is not too bad but could use some improvement. Service has improved immensely since I first started going there.
