Situated in a subtropical zone near the foot of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, Batumi is a popular tourist destination known for its varying weather–it is a bustling seaside resort during warm seasons, but it can get entirely covered in snow during winter. We had great food in the restaurant especially the Khachapuri. The draft beer was also nice. Reasonable prices. Nicely decorated. The staff donât speak very good English but are very helpful. Recommended restaurant or bar.

We went for an early dinner and the restaurant was near empty. We ordered the beef khinkali and a Georgian salad with drinks. The beef khinkali was bigger than necessary, which made it heavy. The food was okay, but nothing special. The service was very mediocre and the value for the quality was not great. We stopped by because of the positive reviews, but it did not live up to the reviews.

this place serves Ukrainian, Slavic food and its excellent. everything we ordered was great from the veal to the chicken clay pot roast to the dessert. the service was great and the waitress serving us was kind and full of wise recommendations.

This fish restaurant is right on the sea front and very close to the Docks. It is certainly in a picturesque situation. We had great views across the sea. Even though we went earlier today to book our table for five they actually forgot about us. But eventually we got a table on the water front. The restaurant was very busy with families so the service was slow. Three of our mains arrived and they were simply delicious fish dishes. However two of us waited and waited and our meals never arrived. Apparently another waiter had served our dishes to other guests! Two of us left hungry which was really disappointing. But three of my friends enjoyed their evening. Hopefully our experience was a one off.

This is a true hidden gem of Georgian cuisine in Batumi. Reasonable pricing, smiling waitresses (well, not always, but we are not picky, are we??), exceptional khinkali with mushrooms, good mchadi and pork kebab. Tried a lesser-known dish called âchizhy-byzhyâ (something close to shakshuka, but made with pickled veggies instead of the fresh ones). It was good though. Meals are served quickly (10-15 min tops), waiters are generally very helpful. They have another Sazandari somewhere more centrally located, but the one on Kobaladze is my favorite!
