Kitchen : Hungarian, Romanian and International. Private Parking. Exchange. Near the Salt Mine. Have a great day
The waitress didn't aknowledge us at all and when she finally came and took our order, it took her more than 15 minutes to bring us the drinks. We wanted to eat there but gave up because who knows how long it whould have taken for the food to be ready...
Fine salmon for fair price. A little long waiting but worth it. We didn't like the salmon pool, but the restaurant has a super garden setting for children and adults too. Very pretty all around and there is a creek besides. Food was very good.
I was there yesterday (28.05.2017) special for the fish prepared there. also you can fishing there - you can rent fishing nets and all you need for fishing.Nearby you can make hikes with small train called "mocaniÈa" - between Sovata and Campul Cetatii. They have rooms and you can sleep.I strongly recommend for the fish !
About 1km away from Sovata resort centre, on Strada Trandafirilor nr153 you will find Stana de Vale. A mansion, family business, ran by Brad family. Excellent traditional food, served in a relaxing environment surrounded by tall trees and the river sound right aside your table. Ask for Tanti Carolina-the Chef of the place- to prepare you a "ciorba de cartofi cu ciolan afumat" (potatoes soup with smoked pork leg)followed, if you can still eat after, by a grilled trout served at house style. You will get there every day, like we did. And we discovered the place nine years ago; never disappointed. Enjoy!Tiberiu
The food is amazing , unique concept , extremly plesant experience , If you ever visit Sovata , Fabesca hotel and restaurant are a must , the prices are good and the quality of ingredients is exquisite. The rooms are modern and the beds are really comfortable. I highly suggest it!

We were for 6 days in Sovata. After trying few restaurants without success we decided to ask the local people for good places where to eat. Most recommendations pointed out to Kali Restaurant. And they where right. The restaurant is very close to Kevin Supermarket, down the street. Usually all the tables are full but you can ask the waiters to keep you a table free as soon as it's possible (20 mins usually). The food is awesome! After eating to Kali for the first time we didn't feel the need to search for something new. I recommend "Ciorba de burta" with garlic and sour for connoisseurs (it's fantastic!!!).We loved also most of the food. We tried Chicken legs with garlic, Sovata Plates, hand made sausages, cow soup, bean soup boiled in bread, chees and polenta, Sarmale, chicken salad with garlic, ultra tasteful PapanaÅi (2 times a day), pancakes. The personnel is friendly, very polite and helpful. Of course you have to come with the same!We recommend, in the evening, to drink a shot of Quince Palinca. It has 48% alcohol, and will give you just the kind of relaxation you gonna need before going back to the hotel after a full day.If possible I would give Kali Restaurant 6 stars out of 5!Good job guys and see you next year :)

We went here for fishing mainly but at noon we wanted to eat too.Regarding fishing, wonderful experience, any kid can fish here very big fishes and create unforgetable memories.Concerning the restaurant, we were not at all impressed by waiters wich were not all speaking romanian, english? no chance. We had to push or remember them, that they have to serve us.

Though I was reluctant to eat in hotel restaurant, I gave up and join my partners in Pacsirta Restuarant. This is the first real restaurant in Sovata I see. Short menu, good food. Correct goulash soup, good salmon with vegetables. Very clean place, good personnel.
