All from excellent above...food quality, variety, waiters, service all you can ask for. The location is nice with a generous terrace and also places inside for the cold weather times. I always eat there when I go to Ramnicu Valcea. If you ever reach there don't miss it!
We were welcomed to the restaurant, a Saturday evening and a crowd was gathering. The music was a very diverse mix, with a lot of commercial songs not coming together in any way and quite loud for dinner. The drinks took too much to come, even considering it was lemonade and not something bottled. The appetizer, some simple bruschetta, took 20 minutes or so, again too much. The main courses came quickly after, looking great. Food was good, could have been better but the temperature of the parts of each dish were not aligned and not optimal. The duck leg was hot, the mashed potatoes lukewarm and the cabbage in between. The pork steak was lukewarm, the roasted potatoes almost hot. The service was ok, a little slow. The prices are good and d for some dishes, but above the mid range for the main courses with meat and side dish. We ended by waiting 15 minutes after asking for the check and having to pay at the hotel reception since they do not have another mobile pos.

Filing home
Nice setting just outside the city center, traditional atmosphere with flags, wood and live music. A lot of choice, but beware: portions are pantagruelic, served in big round dishes, starting with a fantastic bowl of fresh bread! Mici, carnati and other staples are very tasty! Come, eat well and return home as satisfied as you could be.

We stopped for dinner here after crossing the mountains on the Transalpina road and visiting the Vidra lake. We did not stay in the hotel. We were recommended the place after one not so good dinner experience in Ranca, so we came with quite high expectations. The cuisine is traditional Romanian, with a long menu including plenty of meat dishes and a very good selection of Romanian wines. We were starving, so ended up exaggerating a bit but did not regret at all. Decorations in the restaurant are appropriate for the environment - lots of wood, traditional painted ceramic plates from Horezu hung on the walls, traditional Romanian carpets and table cloths. We also liked some of the old pictures of the inn before being renovated. Service was very fast, the waiter though not very experienced. He did his best thought, so we ended up being quite generous with the tip. Overall, a very good dinner in a very nice place

If you ever come to Ramnicu Valcea, I recommend you go to Old City Garden restaurant for lunch or dinner. It's located in the town center, easy access and free parking. Very friendly staff and owners plus good food and atmosphere. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful historical building (~1900) with a great view.
Located very close to downtown Winners' Pub is the perfect place for a party with friends, a theme night for watching a live match or simply for an evening of dancing. 80 sqm welcomes you with live music, 66 seats inside, 100 on two terraces, six huge TVs
Best pub in town a pleasure to be there, great food, good music. Itâs a nice place to spend the night with friends at a cold beer. Thank you for visiting and the recommendation. We'll be waiting for you.

We went to Ramnicu Valcea just for a relaxing weekend so we had no idea were to eat or what to visit (with the exception of Saline). We drive around the city (which isn't big), and saw the restaurant D'amici and looked well and decided to get in for lunch. All I can say that the food was exeptionally delicious, the service was fast and it wasn't expensive.I liked it and if you have a trip to Valcea, you definitely have to eat in D'amici, you won't regret it.
