Reviews on Romanian food in Bucharest, Romania. Vlad the Impaler stated his claim to Bucharest in 1459. His citadel on the Dambovita was the first of flotillas of palaces, many of which still stand. Four subway lines and a modern bus network transport visitors and commuters. Nicknamed "Little Paris", Bucharest's elegant early 20th-century architecture shows French influences. Don't miss the Village Museum, Romanian Athenaeum and the Peasant Museum. You can't miss the Palace of Parliament, the second-largest building in the world (after the Pentagon).

The first Micro-Brewery and restaurant situated in the Heart of Bucharest.
Berestroika is mixing the power of communism (transparency in the kitchen, beer making), homemade beer, Indian, Romanian and international foods. The place itself won't describe a brewery or Indian food place, it's a 19th century house with a big terace. The staff was quick ond nice. The menu is pretty big with a lot of options from Indian, Romanian, internaÈional cuisines. The beer is produced in 4 kinds: white, blonde, red, dark, the last two are my favorites. The food was good, not as spicy and hot as I would've imagined but decent enough for Europeans.

A friendly place served by open people, with a master chef that is pleased to fill your plate with fresh, tasty and healthy food . Traditional Romanian food is the speciallity in a small, simple and genuine location.
We liked this place very much - mainly because it is in a quiet part of the city, near the Jewish Quarter. We were welcomed into a lovely courtyard by a friendly host. The menu is extensive and we found it hard to choose what to have. The choices we did make were excellent - a good start to our Romania trip. Schnitzel (which was perfectly cooked) and a traditional pork stew with polenta. Bring your appetite because the portions are large! Service was friendly and attentive and our meal was very good value. Highly recommended. Thank you very much for your visit and for your review. Hope to see you again in your visit in Bucharest! All the best for you and your family!

Modern Romanian Cuisine with a seasonal approach and focus on the best local ingredients.
The restaurant has obtained the title of "The best Restaurant in Bucharest" last year and I can surely confirm it is among the best ones in Bucharest and, maybe, in Romania. The food is delicious and very well cooked. The waiters were all the time around us and paying a lot of attention to our needs, very well mannered. The costs are a bit on the higher side...Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to review our restaurant. We are happy we live up to guests' expectations and we promise to always deliver experiences which are worth remembering. Looking forward your next visits!Kind Regards, Ana

Kane is an illustration, in various forms, of what contemporary Romanian creativity stands for. Our restaurant promises a memorable exploration of tastes based solely on local Romanian ingredients that have been skilfully combined to bring out very surpri
One word : amaizing. Also, inventive, well-presented and delicious. The courses were all interesting and, at times, challenging. Strong and innovative flavours with perfectly paired romanian wines. For the full experience I recommend the Chefâs table.

Nicely decorated, good service (when full might be a bit slow), so relax and enjoy. Its not fast food.Stick to Romanian dishes (like the great eggplant salads), kebab, etc.Dont order a mix. Its never great. Anywhere. Always part of the mix will be over cooked. Not cheap, not for local dishes... Its great. Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to write this feedback on our page. It was a pleasure for us to have you like a quest and we are looking forward for you next visit. All the best!

We went there around 6 pm on Thursday. There was a few people and the choice of soups wasnât big. There was only one vegetarian soup (corn soup), because other vegetarian soups were sold out. The corn soup was good. It was cheap, Rumanian cuisine and you were full.

We wished for an one century old address to recreate the atmosphere from times when Bucharest was known as Little Paris. CiÈmigiu â Bistro La Etaj is sheltered on the upper floor of the hotel carrying the same name. It appears as a good taste oasis placed
What do you get when mixing in a funny all-pink decor, with delicious food, impecable serving and decent prices plus a dash of a view to remember? Well this place, of course. With a small menu and fresh ingredients for the dishes, it is surely a place to check out. The burger stacks among the best in Bucharest.Dear DraghiciMir,Thank you for your appreciation!
