Went with my wive around 2:30pm on a Monday. The rest. has an outside terrace just in front of the sea. Very nice breeze and view that afternoon. We ordered seafood. The food was fresh, well presented and delicious. Prices were reasonable and the service excelent. We are planning to go back again.

this is as authentic Puerto Rican as it gets. Each morning, a pig is roasting on a spit in the window, and half of it is gone by lunch time, and replaced with a new pig the next day. When ordering beans, they ask if you want that with pig feet or without. This is the real deal. The food is tasty and cheap. I recommend the ribs. A word of warning, you many have to pick off the dead flies out of your rice, no joke. This is a food stand on the side of a road beloved by locals. We did not speak Spanish and lovingly nick-named this place "Flied Rice" among my fellow gringos and gringas.

We have been coming to El Roble for more than 25 years, during this time it has maintained its classic Puerto Rican Sea Food offering and keeping intact old time recipes that have been passed of from generations. El Roble invented the Seven Potencies Stew (Soup) that adds lobster, shrimp, conch, octopus, fish, Scallops & mussels in unique Puerto Rican flavorful stew that is said to be better than "Viagra" according to locals. The Fresh Snapper, Grouper Chops (Only Place to find them), conch, octopus, shrimp, Caribbean Crabs and Caribbean Lobsters all can be ordered with their famous Mojo Isleño Sauce which is heavenly. Also make sure you order their tostones (fried green plantains) made to perfection and order the "Mamposteao Rice" this is a rice and buenas combined and lightly fried over a skillet.Have a bite of fish a toston and a bite of Mamposteao.El Roble is in front of El Malecón area of Salinas overlooking the beautiful bay. This is a classic not to be missed.Ask for Millie she will take care of you.

Oldest restaurant in Playa de salinas. Beautiful seaside view restaurant and bar. Original "Mojo Isleño" recipe, best seafood restaurant in Salinas. Must see and try
We came to the restaurant because it was advertise a lot in the area. We waited for the food more than hour. When the food arrive it was not good at all! The food was not good for the price paid for; which was a lot!! I would suggest going to nearby restaurants I believe the experience will be better.

We were looking for a place to have tapas and drinks and saw a billboard on the highway for Mojitos. Upon arriving to the parking lot we were already impressed. The location is very convenient, the decor is chic and the place has a lot of room. Their specialty is mojitos - I ordered a Parcha (passion fruit) mojito and my sister ordered a Guanabana mojito they were both so yummy. Be careful, they go down very easily :) The food was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered chicken breast stuffed with pulled pork and chorizo, smothered with cheese- very unique and very tasty. My side of arroz manposteao, a combination of rice, beans, chorizo and sweet plantains. My sister ordered fish tacos which were very tasty as well. Portions are big and good for sharing. I am glad I found this place!

The Seafood is outstanding and so is the service. Clean, friendly, and delicious food. The best I have had on the Big Island without question! A nice water view overlooking a small marina. The best counch I have ever had. So very tender. The best lobster
I live in Salinas and have eaten in basically every restaurant. I could say that El Dorado is in the top list. Everything Iâve tried in the restaurant is good. I will recommend the mofongo stuffed with crab. You may have to wait long for your food if you stop here on a busy day (holidays and weekends)

I visited this place for first time with my family. I ate the "Bacongo" mofongo filled with chicken breast. I like it this plate is very tasty. The waitress is so friendly (sorry no remember her name) and thank you for everything. Otherwise, the parking is small.

Went to this restaurant because was in the area doing some business matter. Went with a prospect customer and coworker. The place looks nice and the service was friendly and good. Prices were reasonable and food good. We had the "pechuga rellena de amarillos", cheese and potato soup, rice mamposteado, Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. All was good quality and cook perfectly with good taste.Clean restaurant and good variety of food, appetizers and drinks. During nights and weekends they have live music and activities. The only negative was the waiting time of the food. Too long, I recommend the restaurant but be aware of the time, can not be in a hurry!!!!!
