Itâs a fan of TGIs in general this place is like a play group for the staff who even as dead as it was couldnât find the time get get our drinks or deliver our meals at the same time! 12 minutes to order a top up coke isnât acceptable even on a busy night........ then when a fight kicked off outside to hear the staff swearing and running to the window to watch rather than serve is simply a joke! Unacceptable and well below standard.

On Tuesday 24th September the family celebrated my grandson's 18th birthday in the Bull, we had a meal which was delivered very timely and was very enjoyable, cooked well and hot. The staff who served us were excellent, very efficient and the bar staff also efficient. I great evening was had by all.

We popped into the pub for lunch after doing one of the many escape rooms in Gravesend. It is a classic English pub - lots of little rooms but with a nice balcony and outdoor seating by the river. The choice of beers was good - lots of local options. The food was decent. I had a ploughmanâs and cannot complain. The portion was huge! My family had club sandwiches and scampi and were happy. Next to the pub is the Light Vessel 17 which was open to the public. Itâs opening hours are subject to the tide. It was incredibly interesting. So go and do an escape room in the morning, have lunch and a beer at The Three Daws and visit LV17 if itâs open. Sorted.

Visited with family, we all had fond memories of this place from years ago when it was a pub. It now does very well for food, but not if you are a vegetarian. One thing on menu and your are unfortunate if you do not like one of the ingredients in it. And there is no desire to alter or provide veggie alternatives. Seen as a nuisance. Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we were disappointed to read your visit wasn't as pleasurable for you as we would expect. We do offer a separate vegetarian/vegan menu which has lots of lovely dishes and I am surprised this wasn't offered to you, as a result we will be speaking to all staff to remind them to be sure the needs of the customer are identified in the first instance and the appropriate menu given. Hope you return again soon.

Serving up its painstakingly sourced menu of succulent steak dishes, Miller & Carter is devoted to all things beef. Alongside delicious cuts from the grill, the diverse menu includes build-your-own burgers, market-fresh fish dishes and a range of tempting
We pre-booked and visited this restaurant on 25 October at 7.45pm. We had tickets for the cinema next door 9.15pm. As there was just the 2 of us, we assumed this would leave us plenty of time to enjoy a meal.Firstly, our table for 2 was squeezed in so close to the neighbouring tables to the left and right that we might as well have been on the same table; there was no privacy whatsoever. After being seated, it took a long time to get a drink. When they eventually came, the beer was off - with a foul smell to it, like sulphur / rotten eggs. My partner attempted to put up with it, however after a few sips he couldn't stomach the smell, The replacement drink was much better, however, to add insult to injury he was only given half a pint which we thought was cheeky. I requested no guacamole in my nachos dish, as I don't like it - no problem, they said. At around 8.45pm, we were still waiting for our main course - we had been waiting around 45 minutes since we finished the starter. One main dish eventually arrived at 9.00pm, with no sign of my main dish.... The steak was lukewarm as if it had been standing for some time. The chips were stone cold, as was the onion loaf. My dish then appeared - yep, you've guessed it - smothered in guacamole... By this time it was too late to wait for another dish to be cooked - we had to leave to catch our show. The waitress agreed the steak, ships and onion loaf were cold, and apologised - but by this time our patience had run out. We both had to leave without main courses - we were given the bill for the drinks we had, and the starter - with no compensation for 2 wasted hours and going away hungry. We paid for the starter and smelly drink and left. Very disappointing indeed. Get your act together Miller and Carter!Hello Molly, I do apologize, as we have responded to Steve who we assume is your partner. We have taken all feedback on board and do share this with the team.Thank you for brining this to our attention. Miller and Carter Lakeside

Didn't expect much when we stopped here for lunch, it was local we were hungry and time was not on our side. We decided to chance it and found the service excellent, food was served hot and fresh, price reasonable. Have been back several times since. It's nice to have this little gem on the doorstep.
