So this was my third time there for lunch. Our waitress was very nice, patient, and helpful. The food however was mediocre. I has the black and blue burger. It was over cooked. The blue cheese was not spread evenly over the sandwich so some bites had it and some didn't'.We shared an poutine of poutine. I was not good at all. The gravy had a very unpleasant tanginess to it as if they added worcestershire sauce. The gravy did not have a meaty flavor. It was terrible. Although the waitress raved about how awesome their homemade fried were, I found them soggy and not consistently crispy. My friend had the roast beef sandwich which he said was pretty good but not so good that we would add this place to our regular lunch rotation except for the fact that our server was very pleasant.

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. Place was pretty crowded, and there is not much seating available, either at tables or the bar. The place has some interesting dining options, most of which are more expensive than I would have thought considering the location. I guess there are not many semi-upscale restaurants in the area. The food I got was quite good. They have beer and wine options as well. There are a lot of Maine beers that are not cheap. Service at the bar was ok, wasn't particular efficient or friendly.Hey there! Sorry to hear that you had a less then stellar experience. I understand some of your criticisms from that evening; it was homecoming weekend at Colby and we were packed! So, I'm sure getting a seat was likely a bit tough. We usually have a bit more flexibility. In regards to pricing, our menu is largely locally sourced. We're the only spot in the area focusing so heavily on local, and while we strive to be competitive, we want to raise the culinary bar for the whole area. But, I'm happy you enjoyed the food! Feel free to drop in and give us another shot some time. Thanks.

The Pointe Afta is conveniently located on the China Road in Winslow, Maine close to town. The atmosphere is sporty, and completely open concept with high ceilings. The service is fast & friendly, the food was great, and the locals deem it as a favorite, and the drinks are good. Even though this isn't a pizza joint, I highly recommend the Hawaiian Pizza!!!

Sports Bar and Grill & Pizza. We love to have fun! We have exciting live performances, delicious food, and friendly crowds!
This was our first visit. We wern't sure what to expect, honestly. There were 4 of us and we went around 6:30 on a Wednesday. As we walked in, I noticed a weird smell, could have been a cleaner of sorts. The smell "went away" and I didn't notice it while there. The place was pretty empty. It's small, and I felt out of place lol. We choose a corner table. The server greeted us promptly, ordered drinks. The place is clean, that's nice. We ordered and were served our app. in a timely manner. The "main course" came and mine was wrong. She thought I said something else. No biggie, she had my original order put right it and left the wrong order for me to snack on. Both were great. Gave me a drink on the house, I didn't ask, it was just done. The food was great. Had the sampler #1, pizza, burgers and greek fries on the table. Everyone was happy with their choice. As time went, the place was very busy, not crowded, but busy. Pool was being played, the Bruins were on the Tv's. That's one thing that was mentioned, it'd be great with a LARGE tv for games. The food was reasonably priced, the drinks were good. Everyone was friendly, the bartender said thanks when we left. I first felt out of place and upon leaving felt welcome. That's HUGE with me. They have open mic night, but seems for kids under 20?? My friend wants an open night mic for adults....just throwing it out there. Overall, we will definately be back and tell others to visit. Thanks for a great time.

O'Brien's Irish Restaurant & Pub is located inside the Best Western Plus Waterville. Newly remodeled with an open concept, the menu is sure to please anyone! Our rustic charm will have you coming back again and again!!
Hotel stay comes with to order cooked breakfast, which is a good value. They have a weekend breakfast buffet which did not look as good as ordered breakfast. Coffee is weak. Dinner is okay food, but service can be slow or nonexistent. Prime rib over cooked and not good meat. Everybody who works here is super nice. Interesting Irish food choices, but can be salty.

Had a great local beer and then ordered a side salad and had to leave shortly thereafter. Made my next day on the road very unpleasant. Beer here is good. Stay away from the food. Try other places in town there are plenty nearby.I would say: Iâm sorry you weâre feeling poorly. We served over a hundred salads yesterday, and did not have any reports of illness. Furthermore, we are vigilant regarding food preparation, have an extremely experienced and well trained staff, and take food safety very seriously in our kitchen, therefore, I suspect the cause of your discomfort originated elsewhere. I do hope you are feeling better soon, though! Cheers, Charlie

This Waterville pub offers an extensive menu of rotating local craft beers in 16 and 22 oz sizes, and a surprisingly sophisticated menu, in a casual, college-town environment. In addition to standard pub fare, the menu includes a number of very good seafood choices, including blackened salmon (which was cooked medium rare, as we like it), and Asian tuna, deliciously rare and tender with appealing (but not overpowering) seasoning. Fish and chips was good but not great; and it paled in comparison to the salmon and tuna. Tartar sauce seemed to be homemade and was delicious. Fresh, attractive field greens made for a lovely salad. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The wait staff are pleasant, helpful, attentive and efficient. Noise levels on week nights are moderate. On Fridays by 8:00 pm, the college crowd has filled in, and the scene becomes increasingly frenetic. We were told that the noise levels are daunting on any night when the pub has live music. Highly recommended as long as you avoid the noisy times.

Another downtown Waterville gem. Proper Pig specializes in burgers, which they do VERY well. They have great Happy Hour drink and appetizer options, and as many sandwich choices as burgers. One thing I havenât tried (but would like to) are their flatbreads...maybe thatâll be what I get next time! My only slight complaint is also kind of a compliment: Iâve eaten here twice, and had to wait a while both times for my food. Itâs a testament to the popularity of this place! Come hungry, but be prepared to get an appetizer while you wait.
