We just left the restaurant and I couldn't have been more disappointed. They don't hire enough waitstaff so water glasses go empty, it's hot, you're sweating. Every time I needed something I had to flag down the wait staff. Then, she recommended the tacos. I asked if they were all from scratch. She said yes. Um. No. Can of beans in some bland rice. 3 tiny corn tortillas. Peppers and a small amount of chicken swimming in so much oil it was crazy. A tablespoon of pico and some bitter, brown guacamole. Almost $50 later for two plates of this, water, and tip. What a terrible meal.

Had dinner with some friends and it was delicious. The BBQ chicken quesadillas and pizza rolls are delicious. By far, the best quesadillas Ive ever eaten. The pizza rolls are prepared with homemade dough and filled with pepperoni and mozzarella then DEEP FRIED. Atmosphere was very relaxing with live acoustic jams while I sipped on pear cider. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

I enjoy going in there at noon. I get some quiet time with my daughter whos a nurse and I find it very relaxful. Menu is what I expect , nice selection of draft beer, very good service. Comfortable place to go. Very relaxful..give it a go

The location isnât very central but itâs a good place for groups. Great cocktails, plenty of beers and good food. They have some very American offerings like cheeseburger pizza. The buffalo chicken was really good and massive. We shared an appetizer between 5 ppl and there was plenty.

Our group of eight had appetizers, salads, burgers, drinks and desserts. Fabulous food, diverse menu, and our waitress was excellent. The pub atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The mozzarella triangles and tater tot appetizers were a favorite. Creative burgers and salads. Nice wine and beer selection. All were full and pleased with their meals. Thank you. We liked the variety on the menu. The food was ok but not great. The ribs were very dry. The brisket was tasty but fatty. Service was fast and we liked the ambiance. But there are better places for bbq.

We had a good dinner at Balani Restaurant, a relatively new addition to restaurant row on Moody Street in Waltham.The menu is very eclectic, with a a bit of everything for everyone: steak, fish, chicken, a few vegetarian options.We had the egg and bacon salad (frisée salad and pork belly with a soft egg) and the beet salad with goat cheese, to start, which are both very good.For entrees we had the chipotle fried chicken with biscuits and the burger with pork belly. Again, both were quite good and served with fine nice collard greens.Nice bar and seating for drinks in the front with tables for dinner both in the front and back. Tables in the back seemed quieter and had tablecloths. Overall design and layout and music are funky and interesting. Good place if you don't know exactly what kind of food you want, or have many in your party with different tastes.Service is friendly and helpful.

It's a pretty typical irish pub, dark and inviting. But the surprise was the quality of the food. We went here based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. The servers were freindly , and the food was served promptly, hot and tasty. A little bit tight for seating and the place was packed. My partner and I stopped here for a drink while taking a nice walk around Waltham. We have stopped here before and liked it so decided to try again. They are good seating options, large TVs usually playing sports games (great during Red Sox season). Tons of great craft beer options. Since we are trying to "avoid" beer - we went with margaritas. We ordered one listed on the menu, and it was WAY to sweet. Drinks on the menu also are pre-mixed in batches - which we were told but decided to try (our bad). The bartender and our server, recommended we order off the menu, which we did and the second margarita was so much better. It is a full bar, so suggest you order what you like and not whats on the menu. She even took the first drinks off our bill....without us even asking. Very nice and will be back again.

Good, solid food. Three different kinds of hard cider on draft, plus everything else you will want. Service is excellent: Kerry our server is polite, professional, and wonderfully patient; an absolute gem. Reasonable prices, good food, nice atmosphere. I'll definitely go here again.
