Im from Italy and came across this outstanding establishment. my wife ordered the spaghetti with mussels and i had the pizza Emilia and the rocket and pear salad. We were totally surprised with the excellent quality - the pizza napoletana was incredible - hard to believe thereâs a place that makes pizza here in the traditional way. Amazing. the Italian wine on the list could be expanded to include more varieties, but we had a bottle of the barolo which was very good. the place has incredible views and the staff were so friendly. we would recommend this place to anyone seeking an intimate setting and quality service. thank you Aperitivo.Wow! Thanks for your very positive 5 star review - we appreciate getting feedback from our customers. It helps us grow the business and your comments about the wine are noted. Thanks!

Beautiful day returning to island after easter away and treating ourselves to lazy lunch. Decided to give the award winning burger and dessert a try and were rewarded with a fantastic taste sensation. Service was exceptional and will definitely be on our return list to give other options on menu a try.

Hiding beneath Tantalus Estate's restaurant discover the Alibi Brewers Lounge. Slip into the half-light of our discreet post-prohibition speakeasy, reminiscent of a brick-lined European train station from a bygone era. Alibi brewery produces a wide array
Tantalus is still absolutely one of my favourite places on Waiheke... despite some tough competition...but I find Alibi a bit disappointing. There is not a lot of outdoor space in which to enjoy the view over the vineyards and it is dark inside... not surprising as it almost underground. The limited menu could be more exciting... the lamb ribs were tender and juicy, the beef slider not much bigger than one mouthful and egg-plant salad went down well with my vegetarian friend... but the table was a bit cramped and pokey. I know it's only one person's view... but I would love it they could extend the outdoor covered space and have more sharing dishes on the menu. It's all a bit same-y with the other mid-range, rather boring places on the island. Step it up a bit please...

We went here today as a group of 12 adults and 12 kids. We ordered drinks and easy food..portions were WAY too small hence overpriced! Seemed overwhelmed by customers. ( we ordered in small family groups)large portion of chips was same price as cheesy chips- WOW!! massive difference in size- because we get cheese sauce (!!) Mussels was on special @$15. 8 lge mussels in sauce... no bread, nothing. Sorry- v disappointed, wont return. We had to go and get food in the city after ferry back to the city :-(
