We are a friendly local pub, based between Tewkesbury and Upton upon Severn. We serve great homemade food and brilliant locally sourced beer, cider, wine and other beverages! Come and visit now for a great country pub experience.
There was a group of us today out for a walk with our dogs. Mark recommended this pub to try. As soon as we walked through the door you feel a brilliant atmosphere. We where greeted by the owners and made to feel so welcome. This is a dog friendly pub but you need to respect where they are allowed. I think this is very important as not all people like dogs. The pub was very clean and tidy. The food and service was brilliant. They catered for everybodies taste, and the vegitarian choice was better than most pubs we have been to This is one pub which i would give 150% vote.We are returning very shortly and will be all the time.

This is a great find on the banks of the river Severn in the town of Upton upon Severn.
Popped in for a quick drink and realised new owners had taken over so stayed for a few hours. Live music by Paul Wyllie was brilliant. We felt very welcome and had a great laugh. Will definitley be returning soon!

Rural village pub, Restaurant and Bed & Breakfast. Serving traditional ales and good, home cooked English food. Excellent location for people visiting The Malvern showground, Cheltenham festivals, Upton upon Severn festivals, the ancient town of Tewkesbur
My wife and I popped into this fairly ordinary looking pub on New Years Eve. We found the barmaid and the customers to be very friendly so enquired about booking a table that evening. On returning we were shown into a very nice restaurant with double linen on the table and a nice seasonal table decoration. The friendly barmaid had become our very nicely dressed waitress for the evening. The menu had all the pub favourites, so after our starters my wife and I both went off piste to the specials board. I had beef and my wife pork. The chef had obviously put a lot of effort in designing his dishes which were both full of flavour and filling. We finished off with a very good cheesecake.Relaxing after our meal we were able to observe the service to the other tables including two groups of eight and were very impressed at the efficiency of the service they received from our waitress and clearly the kitchen staff. Our only regret was having eaten early we just couldnât stay to see the New Year enter in this friendly pub.Would certainly return if in the area again.

We came to this fantastic pub during the folk weekend. We had a meal on Saturday evening. There were 6 of us. We all had different meals. Everyone's meals were fabulous! I had beef curry. It was really tasty! All the meals looked good. They were all piping hot. It was so good we wanted to book for Sunday lunch and the maitre'd, Brian was very accomodating indeed. He kindly reserved a table for us. The food was amazing. It was a real home cooked dinner with plenty of meat on the plate and again piping hot. This little pub is a must to visit. We will definitely be eating in here next year when we come to the festival. Thanks Brian and all your lovely staff.

A cosy country pub with very pretty hanging baskets of flowers all around. The service was very friendly and made you feel part of the local community. However, the food just did not come up to the same standard. Yes, I would return...it might have been a one-off.

We were on holiday in the area and stopped for evening meal, booking advised. The pub has been done up so it is trendy olde world. Nice garden next to the village green. We ordered soup for starters, it was very hearty a bit too much for a starter. large amounts of vegetable and meat too filling, be good for lunch. The main meal we had chicken and it was very nice but it didn't really prove to be very satisfying as a meal. All the food was freshly cooked and seem to be locally sourced. The service was good and the staff friendly. The car park was a little bit small and when busy would be full.. We thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got.
