Gus Gerard grew up in the Uniontown area and has returned to open his own Pub. Some may remember him from his days as a basketball player at the University of Virginia, others will recognize him from his days playing professional ball in the NBA. His Pub is quaint and sports oriented. His wife, Pam helps out and has a very outgoing personality. We enjoyed their wings, salad and sandwiches. The Reuben sandwich was excellent. If you are in the area stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Yummy spaghetti, fries and cheese and grilled cheese. Everything is very reasonably priced and you get alot of spaghetti for the price to. They only except cash though no credit cards. The one waitress is not very friendly but its still good food. I would recommend it for food and will be back!

While many restaurants are not open on Mondays, the blue moon is open! The menu is massive & they have something for everyone. We opted to start with their old bay shrimp, the size was fair for two people & tasted great. Then I had the blue moon salad, while I was hoping this would be my ogillie's replacement while they are closed, sadly it was not. The lettuce was very finely chopped & the dressing too much...the overall salad resembled coleslaw. My friend ordered a philly steak & it was incredible! I would go again, just not order the signature salad, I'm sure I can find something...as I said early, the menu was huge & they had a lot of weekly specials!

If you like to get drunk and fall off the stool....great place. If you want to have dinner or grab a late bite after work, forget it. The kitchen closes very very very early ALL the time. If you don't work and can get there before 4pm perfect. If you work and can't get there till later...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!'

Save your money, McDonald's food is probably better. Frozen, deep fried bar food. We had the Friday special, fish hoage and fries, greasey and over cooked. The service wasn't great either, got the bill, couldn't read it and with no price. Found our way to the bar to pay while our waitress watched basketball on the TV.

Food is just fine for bar food, way understaffed though. You will wait a extended period of time for service.

Visited Marilyn's on Main while in town visiting relatives. Overall, pretty impressed. Reasonably good selection of craft beers on tap, friendly staff, and there were a fair number of interesting items on the menu. Ended up going with candied bacon as a starter and one of the pizzas as a main and both were really good. Another member of my party went for one of their entree salads and it looked excellent. In fact, I saw a few different items go by on their way to other tables and they all looked good. My only gripe might be that our server sort of disappeared halfway through our meal and pretty much forgot to get one of my beers that I ordered. But one of the other servers took care of it... not a big deal. I would definitely stop in again.

We biked the Great Allegheny Passage in Ohiopyle and are overnighting in Uniontown. After checking into our hotel we sought a dinner venue. This is ranked fairly high and we preferred a local place vs a national chain, which there are plenty around our hotel. As we drove through the town I commented to my husband, it looks like we are leaving downtown and heading to the residential area. He said yes the write ups said it was in a residential area! Okay we were on the right track. Right at the corner where you turn is a building that says OâGillies with an arrow pointing down the street. Fairly quickly you come to their parking lot which is across from the restaurant. We actually made a reservation as itâs a Friday night. Good thing we did it was pretty busy. We had our drink orders taken and they have a popcorn machine at the entrance so I asked if I could get some myself. Our waitress said she would get it for me. That was my appetizer! My husband ordered the banana peppers stuffed with sausage and it was huge, more an entree than an appetizer. His dinner was one of the specials, a banginâ shrimp Poboy sandwich with Dublin fries. I ordered the filet mignon with regular fries. I ordered it Med rare and it was cooked correctly. My dinner came with a side salad too. The menu lists cooking times for your meals, BELIEVE IT!Our service was good and so was our food. The restaurant is casual.

Visited Titlow Tavern for dinner while staying nearby. Friendly staff, decent food, fairly reasonable prices. We started with the calamari starter which was excellent (lightly fried and a reasonable portion) and then went for the special of the day which was steak with a salad and side. The steak wasn't anything particularly amazing but it was fine, prepared medium as a I requested, and served with a nice dinner salad and a baked potato. Enjoyed a couple of rounds of cocktails with the meal which were each well-prepared and pretty reasonably priced.Overall, a nice local place. I would definitely visit again if I was in town.
