Newer romantic setting with European flare specializing in Croatian style of food, offering a wonderful selection of tasty crepes from savory to desert flavors. My recommendation would be the Banana Foster smothered with Carmel, powdered sugar, bananas, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream (yummy). The dumplings and the cabbage rolls are my favorite, but don't limit yourself. The "slate" will start your mouth watering and ready for the most thoughtful and flavorful food choices. Everything was fresh and inviting. The staff were more than accommodating.

We enjoyed dining here on a rainy, windy night. I had the sirloin steak and shrimp with veggies. All told, it was better than I expected. My husband had the three item smoke house combination. He was not happy with the bbq sauces, but liked the beer based sauce the best. The berry cake served in a small frying pan with ice cream was on point. Our waitress was very efficient and kept track of all of her tables with ease. I appreciated her courteous attitude and professional skill level.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast. It was just off 99. It is a neat building and looks like it rocks in the summer. Breakfast was good. Our waitress was friendly and prompt.

Craving something to really get my teeth into, Haucks Grill was a the perfect place to dine. The waiter was attentive and chatty, but really looked after us well. The smoky ribs were tender, juicy and delicious. These were washed own with a local beer. The servings were generous and 'to go' boxes were offered, but unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of the offer as we were travelling.

My fiance and I were both celebrating our birthdays with my sister in law and boyfriend. Thankfully it wasn't super busy and we were able to sit inside. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The bacon bloody marys were AMAZING! I am one of the few who doesn't like spicy bloody marys and it was not spicy at all and just perfect. One thing that was a bit dissapointed is they have their "brunch" menu until 2pm, with mostly breakfast items. 2pm is well after Lunch time, so that was kind of weird. I had been ranting and raving to our guests who had never been there before about all these amazing dishes they should try, but then we had to choose from the Brunch menu which wasn't as good. In the end, we ordered something from the menu and it was good. But now we know for the future. Our waitress noticed we were opening gifts and brought us out a really good desert. That was a very nice surprise.

I almost always get the steak sandwich, however the fried chicken is great too. They are doing wine dinners once a month and those are fabulous as well. The staff is accommodating regardless of the request. This is one of my favs in town

Dust Bowl Brewing Co.'s Brewery Taproom is dynamic and expansive, featuring edgy vintage décor and beautiful indoor and patio dining. Two 20 tap towers feature our most popular as well as specialty brews, with bottles, crowlers and growlers available to t
This location is home to both a HUGE dining facility and the brewery. Patrons can dine at the bar, inside, or outside under a roof. Outside - just beyond the tables, there is an open field/play area set aside. Part is a children's play area; part is for adults to play Corn Hole, frisbee, etc. Equipment can be borrowed or rented at the restaurant. Very casual - metal tables and chairs, paper napkins, silverware in a bucket on the table. Food comes out on metal trays or in metal bowls. Good selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads and pizzas. Reasonably sized portions at reasonable prices. Servers are quite knowledge about the current beers on tap; offering suggestions of what beer to try with what food. Also, the brewery serves flights - to try a number of beers. Offers local wines by the glass - but the wine prices are quite steep relative to a 16 oz. beer. Glass of wine $10-$15 range.Service is good, always hustling. Yet there is no sense of being rushed out - even when the lines to get inside are visually long. Reservations strongly suggested after 7 or on a weekend.

Dust Bowl Brewing Co. is a small craft brewery in Turlock, California. In August 2011, the company opened the Downtown Taproom in the lively Downtown Turlock corridor, offering guests an intimate vibe, industrial chic décor and indoor and outdoor dining.
The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food is great. Their beer is getting famous everywhere. The brewery is good by the freeway, but the downtown is closer to business people, has a larger menu and feels more personable.
