Visited here Easter Sunday evening and they were so accommodating and kind. Brilliant staff, this is a very friendly place so be ready to join in the jokes. Two meat eaters, a vegetarian, and vegan were all catered for with separate vegetarian and vegan menus and all homemade. Chips were to die for and pies were crumbly and filling. I'll be back for sure.

A casual day of open-top driving around Snowdonia with my Sister left us hungry by mid afternoon! My sister recommended calling into a regular haunt of hers - The Bryn Tyrch!Browsing the menu, we spied something that we had not sampled for many a year! Liver & Bacon! What a brilliant choice! Oodles of onion gravy over a dollop of smooth mash ...not forgetting the liver & bacon!Amazing!

We called in here for lunch and had pie and chips, the chips were nicely cooked, hand cut and delicious.. it was really enjoyable so we went back for the evening meal and had scampi in a basket - a real blast from the past !! Again great service, good food. Would I go again ? Well we already have !!

This was our favorite pub on our recent two week trip to London and Wales. It had our favorite meal and favorite ale. The new owners are wonderful. This is NOT the same Ty Gwyn Hotel that is already listed on Trip Advisor. (Ty Gwyn is a popular Welsh name
Our family of six had lunch here today and we thought it was really good excellent food we had chicken and someone else had the beef we liked the idea of a small menu the presentation was extremely good and the service could not be faulted

Loved this very traditional Welsh pub in Capel Curig, within walking distance from Moel Siabod and a base for the end of many other fab walks in the area.Seating available outside if you want to enjoy the view but the seating inside is great too with a fire to keep warm! This place is dog friendly and serves great Welsh ale which I highly recommend!

A warm welcome greets you from Sue, Colin and all the staff at The Pont Y Pair Inn, We wish you and pleasant and comfortable stay and a memorable visit to Betws Y Coed. our inn is situated at the gateway to Snowdownia National Park, we are lucky to be in
Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Wales. Excellent location, great room size, comfortable beds, great facilities and an excellent breakfast included. Thought was great value for money, friendly staff and the pub in the evenings was also delicious. There is no car park allocated to the hotel, however there is plenty of options to park over night and it does state no car park on the website so this is no issue.

We recently visited here for Sunday lunch, encouraged by the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, so we looked forward with anticipation to our meal. To be fair, for the most part, the food was good, although the menu choices are a little dated. The Sunday Roast was fine, but the veg choice a bit strange. Maybe they were using up what they had in the larder. I was a little disconcerted to have my parfait dessert served in a crereal dish, filled to the brim, but with no garnish or embellishments. I think a little more finesse is expected these days. The staff were friendly enough, but obviously the Sunday lunch at this establishment caters mainly for the local clientele as, other than us, all were greeted personally by name. It has to be said, that the vast majority were in an older age bracket too!The âtime warpâ theme continued in the toilets, with 1970âs sanitary ware in brown. A refurbishment is long overdue here.Itâs unlikely that weâll visit this restaurant again, it was just a little dated for us. There is a difference between traditional and old fashioned!

Traditional country pub serving home cooked food, also accomodation is available from £45 per night.
Food choices limited but ok. Went here on Monday night because our preferred choice is The Old Ship which is closed on Monday. Went here last year and it is definitely improving. From time loud music was a bit over powering which is a shame. They face a difficult choice about not changing too much and losing local customers but at same time making it better for tourists in the area.

Dog friendly traditional olde worlds country pub. Serving Real Ales and Wholesome Food. Sunny beer garden and large car park.
Went here with friends after a good walk. Friendly staff and good value roast. Food very good and staff friendly.Unfortunately the Beer wasnât great, the coffee was dreadful and squirty cream on the pudding was a let down, albeit the pudding was fine.If not for the above would have given an excellent.

This is a great old traditional pub that takes you back to the days of old. There is not a lot of room to move around in the bar, but thankfully, there is an additional dining area for guests/ parties downstairs or in the garden. We choose to stay by the bar, and we were very surprised by how busy it was for midweek and the size of the village! The menu is well balanced and varied and the portions ensure you are well fed! The homemade pie was excellent, as was the fish & chips. The service was welcoming and friendly - glad there was no wifi! The town has two pubs and both have excellent Chefs! Venture out of the city and come visit!
