Things to do in Sylvan Lake
Liked the patio atmosphere and reasonable prices . Good service, and the food did not disappoint . We shared the nachos and were very pleased. Wine was well priced for the area and no surprises. Nothing spectacular, but very comfortable.

Peteâs at the beach is a remnant of old sylvan lake, and brings back memories. I brought my kids there for lunch, and was slightly disappointed. Pros: - atmosphere - friendly staff - location- view from the patio Cons: - prices - food quantity / quality There was no one inside when we showed up, so we had pick of our tables. We grabbed an outside table, and had a great view of the lake and Unlike others experiences, we had prompt and courteous service. My big qualm is with the prices. Over $5 for kids juice. $9 for a kids Hot Dog and fries? Way too much in my experience. The food was okay. The fries are delicious for sure. The rest, well was ok. The kind youâd get at a movie theatre or a kids baseball game. It was nice to come back but Iâll try elsewhere I think

I must say the food is always good at Open Range. We started going here years ago every Saturday night because their steak and crab special was $13.95. When the price went up we started going every other weekend for steak and crab. And then the price went up again and we went once a month. We went this past weekend only to discover that the steak and crab special is now $22.95. Unfortunately that is way out of our price range when we have to drive out to Sylvan from Red Deer. We will probably not be returning to open range because of the price of this special which is why we always went!

What I love most about Hockey Central is that, unlike many similar places, they don't pretend to be anything but what they really are....a fun, lively, sports bar. Wide open simple decor, plenty of televisions for that big game you're watching, tasty pub food with more selections than you would expect, lots of drinks. It was busy the night I was there and the staff were running their butts off and stayed pleasant and friendly the entire night.

Cool place. Wood , leather and antlers. Lots of different than usual pub stuff. The wife had the steak bites. Nice chunk of meat and good flavour. Nice presentation. Now the disappointing part. I had the bucks beef burger. Nice bun fresh pickle and salad on it but a frozen patty ? Bad texture, weird pressed shape , Luke warm . Bummer with all the cool meat here Duck/boar. Etc why cheap out on the burger ? Good fries and tasty gravy. Local beers. Would have been a five star if the burger was a fresh chunk of chuck

Situated on Lakeshore Drive overlooking Sylvan Lake, Undercurrent Brewing is a great destination for locals and visitors. A lakeside microbrewery serving rotating styles of craft beer with a delicious menu of gourmet grilled cheese, dips, meat board and d
Stopped in for a quick lunch. This brewery serves up several types of grilled cheese sandwiches as well as a few shareable plates. Four of us enjoyed both the beer and the different varieties of sandwiches. All sandwiches seemed to come with potato chips and a sliced pickle.
