The Slippery Noodle Inn, Indiana's oldest bar, and home of the Blues in Indiana features live local, regional and national Blues 7 nights a week. Two bands are featured every Friday and Saturday night on two separate stages - Music starts at 8:30pm and go
If you're not a history buff then I'd say this isn't a place I'd go out of my way for. The food and drink selection isn't the best. The atmosphere isn't great either and feels rather dingy. It's not a place I'd want to frequent, take a date too or go to more than once. This is however the oldest bar in Indiana, served as a stop on the Underground Railroad and was a brothel. So the history here is rich and pretty amazing which makes it worth a stop.
If you're looking for good conversation, cheap beer prices and excited race fans you have to check out the Avg Pub located about a mile from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Big screen tvs, a resident dog, juke box and good conversation all await you at the Avg Pub. If you run into Big Scotty tell him his friends from Minnesota say hi! Enjoy!

We were looking for some drinks and fun outside seating before business reception at JW Marriot. Loughmillerâs fit the bill. Great selection of beer and drinks plus some cozy street seating. Mimi and I think Lexi were great personalities and help with drink and bourbon choices. Try the Eagle Rare bourbon!

I actually thought all of the Grindstone Charleys had gone out of business but I found this one on the West side of Indy. Stopped for lunch and had the chopped steak lunch special. Not bad but small portions off sides and the steak was just ok. Place looked a bit run down .. Doubt that I would ever return.

Our retired teachers meet here at the end of the school year to catch up and congratulate newly retired teachers. We aren't very good about paying attention to the servers because we are all excited to see one another and engaged in avid conversation. However, the servers are soooooo patient, so quick, so polite, and so cooperative. Many kudos to them! The food is really good, and the atmosphere is so friendly, down-to-earth, and clean.

This is one of those local places where the menu covers a little bit of everything (gyros, pasta, burgers), the portions are huge, and the value is good. Add in karaoke and I understand why people come.

Locally owned and operated family friendly Pub. We have quite a museum of racing memorabilia. We specialize in Chicago style pizza, fish and chips and a HUGE pork tenderloin sandwich.
My husband and I stayed at the new Marriott which is across the street from here. We actually ate here twice on our one night stay . We ate lunch here, and I have the best drink ever! It was the coconut Blue Hawaiian . I got a steak salad, it was very good, however, I did order my steak medium and it definitely was not medium, it was gray all the way through. But still very tasty. That's the only reason for the four stars . My husband got a salad and nachos and he enjoyed his meal and got a drink as well. Then we came back for breakfast. I had the French toast and it was quite delicious too! My husband got the basic breakfast food like eggs and toast. He liked his breakfast also. It was close and it was very good and we will definitely return here when we come to visit Indiana again. I would like to try other items on the menu also because they had a lot of good choices. Very friendly waitresses. And very welcoming host . If you like sweet tropical tasting drinks, don't forget to get a Blue Hawaiian

Very nice place to hold a team dinner as long as you get their private room. The private room was spacious, easy to talk to others, and seemed to have assigned servers to the room. Food was excellent & servers were very attentive. Reasonably priced food & drinks. Would definitely return & recommend this place.Thank you. Glad to hear we took good care of you, come back and see us.
