Ciara (not sure although how to write her name) was awesome attending us. She was smiling, super friendly and gave us the attention that make the difference. The food is really good, we ordered the polenta and I was literally in love with! My husband ordered the burger and he liked. My salad with cranberries was really good as well! We highly recommend this place.Thank you so much for the kind words. Happy you enjoyed the polenta fries and Sierra's service. We hope you come and visit again soon!

I had high hopes for this place, but was quite disappointed. Service was bad. Sausage was too dry, and had nothing in common with real German wurst. Burger was average. Beer was sour.

Opened in 1996, Grafton Street Pub & Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for almost two decades. This neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin's famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street
First the good: friendly service, nice atmosphere, good relatively inexpensive wine, and GREAT clam chowder. But: the tomato salad was meh minus and the tuna tartare was terrible. We weren't served any bread and ended up hungry with a bill for more than $80 for the 2 of us -- and we only ordered starters. Doubt we'll be back.

Through the red-brick sidewalks and hidden back alleys of Harvard Square rises the latest neighborhood tradition: Russell House Tavern.
Despite the relatively good rating score for this restaurant as I read the reviews I didn't see the enthusiasm you would expect. So I expected an "ok" dining experience. We got a lot more. Harvard Square restaurant options have become increasingly expensive but seldom deliver the value one would like. This one does at reasonable prices. We stayed with small plates; shrimp cocktail & shrimp tacos, shared one of their margarita pizzas, a couple of salads & kale & barley bowl. Kept it light as the 4 of us were going to a show. Drinks menu was just the right size; great choices but tight enough that they knew what they were doing for mixed drinks, excellent selection of beers (draft & bottled) and what I look for; interesting choices of wines by the glass.Service throughout was flawless; if you're lucky you'll have the engaging & knowledgeable Chloe as your server. Nice evening, so we took advantage of outdoor seating. We'll be back.

Had a good dinner at Cambridge Common with a very good turkey burger with guacamole and salsa. The restaurant has a very good beer selection and a menu with lots of options. The restaurant is also attached to the Lizard Club, a basement underground music venue which had great local bands and the restaurant serves its full menu downstairs there as well.Great place to enjoy local music in a club venue with good food and drink.

A Wood-Fired craft beer and wine neighborhood restaurant in Hayes Sq. Charlesotwn
My husband and I found this place after taking the Charlestown Ferry from Long Wharf. The food was delicious. I had a salad and he had the sandwich special. The food was fresh and we both agreed that our meals blended unique tastes to come up with an excellent lunch. The beer was great too. Back patio was shady and lovely.

this restaurant is situated in a large area of shops and a welcome oasis in the middle of a shopping expedition. the physical space is attractive with ample seating. the menu offers a range of options, but relatively few vegetarian selections. the meal started off on the wrong footing - water was delivered to the table, but the 13-year-old in the group asked what was floating in his water!!! it looked like a small insect!!! when we informed the waiter that the water appeared contaminated, he thought we were kidding and asked if he should bring another one! duh?the food was at best mediocre. it was attractively presented, served piping hot, a definite plus. but all of the food was too heavily salted - i suppose this makes sense if you are drinking one of the many beer offerings. the food was actually okay but not in any way remarkable.this would not be my first choice in the future.

I don't know why this place has so many high ratings. Their menu is very limited and the burger I had was below average. I would not recommend this place or go back.
