MVP- My Village Pub is Siesta Key's premiere sports bar, featuring 36 televisions, 16 draft beer, outstanding food and incredible service.
Great atmosphere and even better food! We decided to try it for lunch and it was so good, we went back for dinner the same day. The open air atmosphere was perfect and the staff on both visits were friendly and welcoming. The food...yum! Salads, sandwiches, pretzels...and wings, oh the wings. Only true sports bar in the village and definitely worth visiting. Probably going back again before we leave!

Monkâs was founded January 2001. Voted one of Sarasotaâs Best Raw Bars, we offer the finest Raw Oysters, as well as other fantastic shellfish appetizers. Our Oysters Monkefellas are one of the most popular items in Sarasota and nationally.â Try our 2 lb.
I was on Siesta Key in another seafood restaurant and I asked the waiter if the mussels were good. He said, "I don't eat mussels here." I asked him where he does eat mussels. He said, "MONK'S."Monk's is not very pretty. Basically it is a biker bar after 10 PM. But they have have the best steamed and raw shell fish in Sarasota. If you have kids, the bar lets you go to Solorzanos pizza place next store and bring back a pizza for the kids. We don't go in but sit on the patio while it is still light outside. Beer, oysters, pizza, sunset. What is not to like.

Palermo serves up excellent food reminiscent of the NE US. I'm from Philly originally, and my cheese steak ranked up there with some of the best I've had. And the bread (he makes it there fresh every day) was fabulous!

Not much more to say.The chowder is seriously really good! It's a great little place for lunch, happy hour or casual dinner. Service is good. They have inside and outside seating. And if you want a bigger menu just walk next-door to Captain Curt's Crab & Oyster Bar.

I have lived in Sarasota for 40 years. I believe Connors is the best restaurant in the area. The food is consistently fabulous, very large portions and the service great and the staff friendly and accommodating.Today I had grilled chicken on mashed potatoes and served with broccoli. My friend had shrimp and grits and said it was THE BEST she ever had.As a bonus the owner was there today, Bo Connor. He spent at least 20 minutes visiting with us at our table. Very impressive. The cappuccino was excellent. I only wish I could have been able to eat their homemade ice cream. One scoop feeds 3 or 4, very generous portion. We both had enough leftover for another meal.I never get tired of Connors! Thanks for the glowing review!

You find yourself wandering into Siesta Key Village after an epic day on the #1 Beach in the USA. Sandy feet and salty skin, searching for shade and refreshment. You wander right into Gilligan's Island Bar & Grill and you couldn't have picked a better spo
We are locals and love Gilligansâs happy hour sometime timing our visit to listen to their Tuesday/ Thursday cover band RPM. Such was the case last Thursday when we took friends there. Unfortunately their four hour set beginning at 6 normally results in 2 hours of combined music as their sets start always start late and end early with 20 to 30minutes breaks in between. They are notorious about it at Gilliganâs. However, Management at their other weekly local venues that employ them on a weekly basis have caught on and seem to have more discipline over them then this establishment. So we will catch them in other Sarasota venues and Nokomis rather than return to this establishment.

Nice little hole in wall fun location. Not a huge selection of beers but adequate and the bartender very beer knowledgeable. No complaints what so ever on the menu. sampled much and enjoyed tremendously. Downside may be the parking as it's slightly limited sharing a small parking lot with the attached businesses in the small building

We are an American gastropub with a great craft beer selection. Select blend burgers and free-range chicken are on our menu along with seasonal dishes. We try to base menu on locally available and sustainable options. Along with the standard menu, we have
We had the fresh sea bass ceviche, which was one of the best I've had. Large bowl with many chips, very fresh, good marinade sauce. The shrimp tacos were also very good, well spiced, good texture with the slaw to compliment them. Everything was fresh and not fishy. We will definitely be back.

My husband was reading the Newspaper and saw an article about this bar, who gave the money that people put on the walls to charity, so we thought weâd check it out. Atmosphere, food and drinks were great. We both had the grouper tacos. Zach was our waiter, he was very nice. Very busy place, but taken care of! Good choice! We're so glad that you enjoyed your experience! Thank you for the review.
