Friday is a fish day here. Ordered perch purported to be nice in size and tasty..they were. Neither.. very small and overcooked. Another ordered all you care to have battered cod..safe bet..nothing special and soggy. Another table next to us sent one order back twice and told the waitress to forget it. No greeting on entry..finally a sit where yo u want..many empty tables at 7 pm..

Completely remodeled interior offers a huge 69' bar with five 50in. T.V's. A full menu including the Famous Sheboygan Brat Plate and a massive selection of liquors and beers.
Our first visit to Sly's was after 12:30 pm on a fairly slow Tuesday in mid-March. The smallish bar and grill sported a rather long bar, assorted high top tables and a few short top tables. There were about 6-8 patrons in the place. We sat at the bar directly across from the expansive gas grill and food preparation area. We got to see the cook in action on our lunch sandwich choices and those of a few other patrons as well. Cooking pace was deliberate and measured, producing spot on results for my spouse's Double Brat Plate and my Ribeye Steak Plate. I passed on the baked beans and potato salad sides to focus on the very flavorful and well prepared ribeye steak sandwich with sauteed onions on crusty Sheboygan hard roll. My spouse's double brat with a mix of raw and sautéed onions and sauerkraut on crusty Sheboygan hard roll required both hands to keep the contents within the adequate and fresh bun. The same could be said for my ribeye steak sandwich featuring a medium rare fabulously flavored and tender steak that stuck out beyond the roll. We each ate half of our respective sandwiches and shared the other half. Even with the switch the rolls held up to the last savory bite. The baked bean potion was generous as was the potato salad, with both being middle of the road in contrast to the superb sandwiches. Service was prompt and attentive and value was excellent with the Double Brat Plate on Special at $7.50 and the regular price of the ribeye steak plate at $9.50 for two of the best tasting sandwiches of their kind in our decades of dining experience.

This a bakery, restaurant and bar. The daily specials are very good, but have a very nice affordable menu as well.

This place was nice because it was by the water. There was four of us and we spit plates however the meal with a drink each was still over 80$ and lets just say some of the service was not up to what we would call par.

This bar/restaurant was not my first choice, but once inside, I quickly changed my tune. The architecture is old, but beautiful, especially the floor to ceiling oak bar. The food is not your typical bar food, but very gourmet. Love the rosemary fries! There are several drink options that were quite different, and very good. Reasonable, small-town prices. My guests and I enjoyed some games while enjoying our dinner.

Our party of six ordered wings, apps and salads. The prices didn't seem too bad, until the food arrived. The portions are very small. I left hungry. My salad was tiny. There were hardly any toppings and I only found 5 very small pieces of cubed grilled chicken. The apps were also very small. The menu is extremely limited. They only offer wings, apps, sliders and a few salads. I will never return. On a positive note, the service was great.

Since opening our doors in 2007, Frankieâs has become widely known for our quality sandwiches, made with Certified Angus Beef and fresh Sheboygan Hardrolls, which are just a bit larger than others. Most people say we have burgers âas big as your head.â Ot
Revisited Frankie's after golfing 18 at Blackwolf Run. This has now become one of my favorite places for a burger. Our bartender, Megan, was fantastic. Super friendly, chatty and made an excellent recommendation for me to try the French Fried Onion Burger. These things are massive and the quality is not lacking due to its sheer size. Perfectly cooked, excellent toppings and that roll, nobody else beats that. I will always choose this place over anywhere else anytime I'm in that neck of the woods. Thank you again!

8th Street Ale Haus is one of our go to places in Sheboygan. Theyâre menu consists of upscale, creatively concocted pub food. My favorite dish on theyâre menu (which does change seasonally) is the scallops with orzo. Ive had it multiple times and it always comes out perfectly done. Another favorite is the cheese and charcuterie board, which always has a great variety of fun things to try on it. Then thereâs the cheese curds: best in Wisconsin in my opinion. They are perfectly fried in a light, crispy batter. They have a huge selection of beers and ciders on tap, and a very fun seasonal cocktail list as well. Also: donât miss their Sunday brunch! Bottomless mimosas and the best Chicken and Waffles outside of Tennessee!Whether youâre seated at the bar, or in the dining room, the service at Ale Haus canât be beat! Thank you for always giving us a wonderful experience!
