Semmes (pronounced /sɛmz/, locally /sɪmz/) is a town in western Mobile County, Alabama, in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area. Formerly an unincorporated community, voters in Semmes approved incorporation of a part of the community as the city of Semmes on August 17, 2010. After a statutory enumeration, or census, the town was officially declared incorporated on May 2, 2011, by Mobile County Probate Judge Don Davis. The statutory census indicated that the town has a population of 2,897 people. It covers 2,100 acres (850 ha). The current Mayor is David Baker. He is the 2nd Mayor of the city, succeeding Judy Hale.

Been here a couple of times and I donât know if itâs a training issue or management issue. Came this time on a slow night and took to long to be greeted by a hostess. She was talking with I believe friends at a nearby table with her back to us. It got uncomfortable for one of the folks at the table and he motioned to her that we where there. Our waitress was attentive during our meal, but at the end of our meal was slow in getting our check to us. She was caught up helping busing tables. Food is ok and wings were meaty and well prepared. There is a lack of service consistency with each of our visits.Hi dectree,We appreciate you taking the time to alert of us your concerns. We are disappointed to hear that you found your service lacking and we are always working with out staff to ensure that these issues are an exception, not our normal operations. The localsâ favorite for food, sports and fun. Since weâve opened, the Crimson Tide and the Boston Celtics have both returned to glory, and hell DID freeze over â the Saints won the Super Bowl!

You can count on Heroes to have consistently good bar food. I also like the new outdoor dining area, it's going to make a huge difference on big game days. TV's everywhere make watching the game you want to see very convenient. My only complaint, and it's probably due to a lack of good applicants, but service has been spotty the last couple of visits. I hope they are able to work it out get back to consistently good service.

This TGI Fridays is located adjacent to Homewood Suites, and the only reason we ordered food from there. I ordered easily via the TGI Fridays website. Our meal was ready 30 minutes from order time. The food was decent, nothing to rave over. We ordered kids meals which had adequate portions. No drink included. We also ordered salads - portions could have been bigger, especially when paying over $10 for a salad - you want something other than a bunch of greens. Tiny pieces of tomatoes and other skimpy toppings. Very disappointing for what we paid. Again, ordered from this restaurant strictly because of convenience to the hotel where we were staying.

Decent menu with ample selections. The fried pickle appetizer was not well breaded and only so-so. The waitress didn't know what beers they had and basically just choose what I remember - say what. Then the burgers came out and they were nothing special. We probably hit the restaurant on a bad night.
