Stopped in to buy wine on our way into town for the week. The wine guy told us we should come back for lunch during their Happy Hour time to get a half carafe of wine for the price of a glass. He told us they had a great lunch menu too. We decided to give it a try and had the best meal of our week! We sat outside and enjoyed the sun which did not make an appearance too often during our trip. The server was very nice and explained the menu and all the favorites. We all enjoyed the Happy Hour wine deal. Our favorite foods were the grouper sandwich, crab and corn bisque(full of crab!), and the crab cakes. The salads were also very nice and they were quite generous with the amount of ahi tuna that was added to a salad. We wished we would have had time to go back and try more from their menu. Thanks for the great review! We're honored to have been a little ray of sunshine in your vacation this week ;) hope to see you next time you're in the area. Cheers!

Came here as the menu sounded great along with the Beer options. Was not impressed at all as the bartender wouldnât explain anything about the drinks. Can you tell me about the Smoked Old Fashion? It is fine.... as I stare at that response. Food was ok nothing special, just had much higher expectations but the service ruined it. Oh they forgot our beerâs as well twice... ugh... I'm sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your honest feedback. We strive for excellent customer service and it sounds like something went wrong here. Your comments have been forwarded to Management so we can look into the issue and correct it ASAP. We hope you give us another chance to show you how much better we can do!

My husband and I were driving and had no plans on where to go. We came upon Whaleâs Tail and decided to try it out. Seated outside and was beautiful and very clean. Our server was amazing, and even moved us right inside when the storm him. Food was fresh and full of flavor (grilled shrimp). Key Lime Colada was refreshing and not too sweet. Was very small from what we saw, but was the best place weâve been since weâve been staying in Destin. Husband left and said âI could do this for lunch again tomorrow!â
