Wasn't that good. Even though it is Applebee's... Didn't have that greatest of food or service, the waitress seemed to never be around to refill our drinks. Food seemed like it was sitting for awhile wasn't hot.

When we first started going to Wings several years ago, we were wowed by the size of the burgers and baron grilled chicken sandwich. The last couple of visits, the size of both seem smaller, although the price has increased. They are both now just average. The baron had 2 pieces of bacon that were curled up in the center, a sprinking of shredded cheese, 1 mushroom slice and 2 tomato slices about the size of a half dollar. We were really sorry to see this as Wings had been one of our favorite spots.

Service was a bit slow, but sitting on the deck watching the boaters made for a pleasant wait. Drinks were very good, fish came with fries or potato pancakes and apple sauce. Fish was lightly breaded and quite good, pancakes dry and not hot, applesauce, cole slaw and tartar sauce came in tiny plastic cups and there were not enough for our entire party of 6. Prices were reasonable.
We had a Friday Fish on our mind so we decided to come to the Packer Inn once again. We arrived at 5pm, low key crowd, drink specials for happy hour. $4.00 scomfort old fashions,The soup/salad bar was $2.00 more with your meal and salad bar is small and just the basics for a salad but refreshing. The soup was clam chowder, very good. So well worth the $2.00 more. I ordered a regular size of walleye and got 3 nice fillets, cheesy hash browns,Lightly breaded fish, great taste, great meal. Wife had a regular perch plate and same results, excellent meal. Too sum it up, itâs a county Inn, nothing fancy but resealable and good. Two of us ate salad, soup, fish for under $26.00... will be back

The best two things at kelly's are the broasted chicken and their meat raffles. They have a serviceable bar, the bathrooms are usually clean and functional. They have a pool table and some gaming machines. Their Sunday meat raffles are the best in the area, fast-paced, great prizes and super FUN.

Have been by Ralph's many times and it is always busy. That's a good sign. Had heard they had a good fish fry so invited some friends to join us for Friday fish fry. As usual, the place was busy. The place was full of some really drunk people but they were entertaining. The six of us ordered the fish fry. The Good-The fish, potato pancakes and slaw were wonderful. Not overly breaded and flavorful. The drinks are cheap and the waitress, although the only one there, did a great job.The Bad-The noise is so bad you can't talk without yelling. The only table that seated six was by the door and pretty much everyone in the place smoked so we got all the smoke when they went out the door to light up.The Ugly-I decided to use the rest room before we left. It was, without a doubt, the filthiest smelliest bathroom I have ever been in. I can't even describe how bad it was. If I would have gone in there before I ate, I would have left.I know the place has been there a long time and is popular so my review probably won't make a difference but if you're looking for good fish fry, give it a shot.
Went there for Friday fish fry on a recommendation. Was not disappointed. I had perch and the wife had cod, both were very good. Service was great. Will go back.
What to do and see in Salem, United States: The Best Places and Tips
casual restaurant and pub serving burgers, sandwiches, salads and pizza. daily specials and a Friday fish fry. Baseball complex behind restaurant catering to youth baseball and softball.
Very poor service, we had to flag down our waitress after approximately 20 minutes of sitting there waiting. Ordered gumbo which had a great flavor but lacking any kind of substance just a thick broth with three pieces of sausage. Fish tacos consisted of a piece of dried up grilled fish lettuce tomato and cheese on a tortilla, no sauce no flavor. Can't really mess up super nachos but I could have gotten them at Taco Bell. Needless to say we will not be back.

On Route 75 (Route 83)
Quirky little place that is incredibly popular. Assuming the fish is fresh and local by the look of the menu. Little place with a big personality.
