Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ ʒɑ̃ syʁ ʁiʃəljø]) is a city in eastern Montérégie in the Canadian province of Quebec, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of Montreal. It is situated on the west bank of the Richelieu River at the northernmost navigable point of Lake Champlain. The results of the 2011 Census stated that the city's population was 92,394; the number of residents was estimated at 94,636 in 2014.

We change the regular fast food into a super modern meals! In the menu we have Big Burgers, Good Poutines, Big Hot-Dogs, amazing grilled cheese and of course some GOOD BEER!

You can get Poutine almost everywhere in the Québec province... gravy, fries and cheese curds are the essentials and only components of a traditional Poutine. What makes spécial at La Plank is there home made gravy. The cheese is good and the fries also. However if they would use peanut oil instead of plain shortening they would be amazing! Like many hip bistros, the selection of Poutine is imaginative, the burger humongous! Great service and the location is nice, no far from the canal. A must try!

Popped in based on reviews here and weren't disappointed. Service was not swift but was enthusiastic and their willingness to translate to English. Excellent craft beers and reasonably priced eats. You are getting into rural Quebec, could have stayed for a couple more but had to drive darn it.

Ate on outside patio on a weeknight. The Caesar salad was great, fresh croutons, real bacon and not swimming in dressing. Bar selection was wonderful.

We stopped in for lunch and I have to admit what a clean and nice place , beautiful bar and terrace and the service is great. We sat at the bar and we were served in no time with a smile . Very pleasant people and the food is so good and fresh...If ever you are in the area make it a point to stop in , I am sure you will not regret it...
