Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner together at Le Tonneau. Staff are very friendly. Typical regional food on the menu as well as steaks or pizza. Yummy desserts. Nice bar when you just want a drink.Thank you for your opinion about the barel 'Le Tonneau' pub / restaurant.Come back with freinds on summer with your byclicle.

We found the restaurant by accident when we got lost on a walk - the owner helped us on our way. We returned for a meal a couple of days later and had the fondue - it was wonderful. The owner/chef spoke very good English and was extremely welcoming - we had a great evening. Oh and the view - probably the best view of any restaurant I have been in. Do make the journey up from St Jean de Maurienne - it is really worth it!

best budget for takeaways (great fat steaming cheeseburgers), i had lunch there with family, the place is very charming, the service is not intrusive, the staff (local) is friendly and always happy to give advice, after snowboarding the food is exactly what you need, some "savoyards" salads, tartifflette, huge plates of pasta and more local dishes plus the day's menu. Don't miss the top class home made "vin chaud" and its secret mind blowing extra (genepy i heared ;-)) I highly recommend that place and the panoramic view is pretty impressive.
