We go here at least once a week. The food is amazing - the slow roasted lamb is the best Iâve ever had - and itâs all freshly prepared. Not your usual greasy over-cooked pub grub. The owner and the staff are all lovely. Great service, great atmosphere. Absolutely packed all the time.

Above the pub is their Brasserie, which serves a short and eclectic menu in a much more relaxed ambience than the pub proper.Service was prompt and attentive. Though the food I had was not exceptional, overall I considered it a very good dining experience.Thank you for joining us, Upstairs. Fantastic atmosphere in this historic pub. The staff are friendly and efficient but I was a bit concerned that the chef would only cook steak medium or well done( something about us ordering 15 steaks). The beer was served really cold , just as I like it, the wine list was good. The food was wonderful. Definitely worth a return visit.Thank You !
