We had a great evening at the Hurley Mountain Inn. The food was fabulous and the staff and other customers were absolutely fabulous and friendly. Our visit to Hurley was probably our favourite place to visit on our recent holiday. Thank you for taking the time to review us. We appreciate your kind words. The entire staff works to ensure our guests enjoy themselves at our Inn. We hope you visit us when youâre in the area again !

It was a little tricky getting there (our GPS took us on a dirt road), but it was worth it. The live music was great & they even have a dance floor!!!! It's connected to a golf course, so basic menu offerings, but very good.

I usually stop in here with my dad when I'm visiting. It's his Tuesday night place (chicken parm night). They have a pretty diverse menu and great prices for the volume and quality of food. To describe it, it's like upscale diner food. Reminds me a lot of the old Riccardi's (down off the avenues in K-town) before they closed. Service has always been good and the food is really good as well (better than average but not fantastic). I generally end up sharing a place with the wife or my son because unless you're a competitive eater, you're not going to finish a plate in this place....

Located on the main street in downtown New Paltz, in an historic old building that's been redone and expanded while still retaining a cozy pub vibe. Great food and beer in a sports bar, pub setting. Extensive menu, from sandwiches, burgers, dinner entrees, nice appetizers, salads. Entrees run the gamut from steaks, pasta, seafood, chicken - great selection. Nice beer, wine, and cocktail selections. Large portions, couldn't eat it all and they happily provided take home containers. Our server was very friendly and professional. Second visit, and we'll return if ever in New Paltz again.

The Spy is our Touchstone Restaurant. Everything about this place makes my wife and I happy, obviously the diverse and creative menu and especially the atmosphere. Itâs sort of an intellectual âCheersâ in the Catskills. Really, donât know if Iâve ever been to a more relaxing and accommodating eatery. Last might took some visiting, close friends from Kansas City there whoâve been hearing my wife and I rave about The Spy for years. Our friends, after dinner, absolutely agreed on our appraisal. Great food, great bar and great service.

Rather mediocre. OUr first time here for 4 of us. We ordered two burgers medium rare and both were medium, very large portion and did not get the dipping sauce with my fries, very heavy cheese on the french onion soup and their special pasta and meatballs was just awful with too much marjoram or thyme that we tasted the rest of the night, (husband didn't' finish it and didn't' want to bring any of it home). It was overcooked linguine noodles and some mystery sauce again with cheese melted over it. The homemade desserts were very sweet. Went on a Wed night to hear the music but too loud to talk so we went to the bar to finish. Very few patrons except for us and the band members with their friends and family. This should have been an indication to us. With so few people service was slow and had to track the one waitress down several times. I would drive on by.

A delightful setting, professional servers. Food took a LONG time to come out, but when it did it was fresh and delicious. The potato leek soup was first rate and salads locally sourced.

Decided to try after finding another spot had 46 minute wait. Was able to get seated immediately. What lovely decor! We had Humus, Chicken Pot Pie and Truffle Mac and Cheese. Food was delicious and service was attentive. Stopped by the bar on way out and owner asked how everything was. Lovely spot we will definitely come again.

We had the special today for lunch which was pastrami. It was superb and overly large. The fries that came with it were also wonderful and I don't usually like fries. The meal was all of $10.45 with pickles and cole slaw on top of it. Needless to say we couldn't finish our meal. Had to take the rest home with us. Highly recommend
