Full Tables service, Bar Service and Hotel facilities, Fresh Rotisserie Chicken served daily. Outside patio area, family friendly with children's play area inside and outside.
We enjoyed the choice on the menu, lots of specials and good value too. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was alright.

A traditional, two bar pub offering ensuite accommodation and cold served Yapas (Yorkshire Tapas). Complemented by cask ales, over 20 gins, 10 rums, craft beers, ciders and a selection of wine from around the world. Itâs a small pub with a big choice! We
The first time I went here I literally couldn't get in the door because it was so packed. My second attempt was much more successful. Small front bar, slightly larger back back. Decent ales on cask on the bar. Good atmosphere. Recommended.

Traditional British pub, serving a selection of Cask conditioned Ales, popular draught products, delicious wines, spirits, liqueurs & malt whisky as well as freshly brewed Taylor's Tea & Coffee, Hot Choclolate & Liqueur Coffees. Regular host to local Folk
Friendly staff and great selection of beers. They allow you to bring in your fish and chips from elsewhere which we loved! Definitely will be back on our yearly Whitby visit.Thank you for taking the time to make a review with Trip Advisor. We are delighted you enjoyed visiting our lovely traditional pub and had the chance to enjoy your fish & Chips with us.We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Whitby.Cheers, Ian & Maria

The landlord quite happy to take your money for food and drinks as long as you rush and get your kids out quick, and two swings hardly can be called a park.Having said that if you want a cheap, quick dinner this is the place to the beer is good and cold

Country pub with a relaxed atmosphere serving outstanding food using the freshest local ingredients. Patrons may dine in the restaurant, bar or purpose built outdoor beer garden. We can cater for special occasions such as weddings, christening and parties
Stayed here in one of the new Shepherds Huts and enjoyed a great stay! Our first time glamping experience was definitely a success. Really well kitted out hut, comfy bed, sofa, TV and drinking facilities. All very clean and well maintained, with good facilities for toilet & shower. Full english breakfast was awesome! A quick taxi trip in/out of town if you donât like to walk. Thanks to Ben and his team for a great stay (and your mum was a superb breakfast host!) and the pub locals were extremely welcoming too!

We were very impressed by this little gastro pub just above Whitby. Pleasant, bright dining room and efficient staff. And a menu with a good range of choices. We had the leek, potato and cheddar soup and the lamp rump. Both excellent. As New Zealanders we think we're experts in lamb of course(!) and in all honesty the dish we were served was excellent; quality meat, perfectly cooked. If we lived in the area I suspect we'd become regulars.

Had a really lovely lunch at Ye Dolphin. Wasnât expecting much because the pub looks like a very traditional ale establishment, however we had the best smoked mackerel and horseradish baguette. It was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. The real ale was exceptional too.

It is with sadness that we announce we will be leaving the Fylingdales Inn, our last day of trading was Sunday 18th September. We would like to say a big thank you to our loyal staff over the years and of course to the many customers who have supported us
Visited here one evening and one lunchtime. Lunchtime involved a couple of very nice well filled sandwiches, no problem there, with a couple of nice pints of Theakstons best ale. Evening time we had not booked and it was very busy and the waitress managed to get us into the conservatory area(dog free), on a small table. Nice country pub feeling rustic with no frills, just as it should be. My wife had a nice meal, a couple of nice fillets of sea bass, she enjoyed it. I was very disappointed with my meal. I had the fish pie. Not going to go on for ever but there was not much fish in it and it was only a child portion size. Very disappointed in such a place. It certainly was not a Yorkshire size portion. Beer prices expensive food prices reasonable. I would certainly go again but I would have something different to eat.

To be fair I'm a harsh critic. But surprised that the 'posh' side was fully booked. But the bar area was ok. Thankfully no local louts swearing and jeffing . The menu covered enough and when the food came it was scoffed down. Nice Beers on offer to was it down. Table service was pleasent and attentive so yes we would call again.

We were actually exhibiting at a wedding event, but decided to pre book a room to stay over. The hotel has a carpark but thereâs ample parking over the road. Spotlessly clean hotel and the orangery is beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a stunning room with a sea view and a gorgeous en-suite with a roll top bath. The room reflected the hotel and was spotless and beautifully decorated. Fully stocked hospitality tray. We ate in the bar and had a lovely, fresh and very filling meal. All at good prices. A very comfortable nights sleep and a stunning view of the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious and again all the staff were cheerful and friendly. A beautiful hotel with stunning views. I would highly recommend and I will definitely return.
