We went here for the first time following a baseball game. We were seated right away and the service was good. We ordered potato leek soup and an appetizer. The soup not only didnât have any potatoes but never saw a leek either! Basically what we got was a white sauce with no flavor. Most disappointing, especially since it was the soup of the day. We also ordered their bacon tots which were really tasty and hot. When we got the bill there is an extra 3% added on to âcover their employee benefitsâ, or close to that wording. Across the street at a different restaurant you donât see that extra 3%. Ok place, probably will not go back.

Visited at the end of a long bookselling conference and had SUCH a delightful dinner. Beer was great, the special martini unusual and delightful, and our food choices were stellar. We tried lots of things: vegetarian sandwich, veggie side dishes - cauliflower and brussels sprouts were amazing, vegetarian pasta, bone marrow appetizer, buffalo wings, and shrimp tacos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Big Louie's is a typical sports bar. It has friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The food seems better than most sports bars. I had the pan fried walleye. It was perfectly breaded and cooked. The starter salad was large for a side salad. I can definitely recommend this place.

Stanleyâs Northeast Bar Room is a casual, friendly neighborhood bar in Northeast Minneapolis with a great selection of unique and regional food, beer and cocktails. Stanley's features 32 craft beer taps and over 25+ rare bottles of beer available in our b
Friday night in July three of us for outdoor food and drinks. We have been here a few times before and we enjoy the outdoor patio that allows dogs and has special treats for them.It wasn't overly busy but service was slower than usual. Tap Beer selection is pretty good, but I would like it if they would carry a few safe standard beers like Blue Moon.I wanted to try a sample of a beer but service was so slow, I knew it would take forever.I ordered pizza with Canadian bacon, regular bacon and mushrooms but when the pizza came out I was told they ran out of Canadian bacon so they cooked my pizza less one ingredient. I wish they would have given me the chance to make another choice. My wife had a great burger and salad. The pizza was still better than average. Since we have been here before and never disappointed, I'm giving Stanleys a pass, but they are so close to being really, really great rather than pretty good.Hello Jim,Thank you so much for the honest feedback. It sounds like there were so many easy opportunities to have been able to turn an average so-so experience into an amazing one. We definitely have a few kinks to work out with our new pizza concept, therefore every little ounce of feedback is crucial to being able to polish this new adventure of ours. (However, I must say..... who just omits a pizza topping without conveying that to the person who is going to eat it?..... Whaaaaaat?... (she say's shaking her head in disbelief : )As for the slower level of service you experienced, this is perfect example of letting the new Summer rookies know that we are always here to help them and there is no shame in asking for a hand. I sincerely apologize. I will use this review as a training tool, and for that I would love to get you back into our little Northeast Gem and WOW you like we "normally" do. If you are so inclined, please email me at [email protected] so I can begin to repair this new relationship of ours : )A thousand thank you's for your time,Kelli HollowayGM

Top notch craft beers... hazy IPA, bold porters, unique sours... a fun social neighborhood vibe.. less industrial than Fair State which is nearby... definitely a repeat place

Surly not only serves an amazing collection of on-site craft brews, they do an amazing job coupling those brews with great pub grub and an amazingly entertaining facility/grounds. The tour is a must-do to appreciate the motivation that drives these folks to brewing excellence and community service.

Went here for a meeting with a friend. Ordered the cheese curds which were terrific. Lightly breaded which let the cheese do the work regarding taste. Really good. The main plates were only average at best though. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich which was dry and did not have a lot of sauce on it. It tasted like a chicken sandwich and not a buffalo sandwich. On another order, they ordered the BLT wrap which was a lot of bacon but not a lot of flavor. On the upside the service was fantastic. I like service with a little attitude and who can take a comeback. Had a fun time but I wish the food was a little better.

This is the first time at the restaurant. Went there with our daughter and her friend. The fish and breading were outstanding and the fries were equally as good. The only thing that didn't make the grade was the coleslaw. Not my idea of coleslaw.

stopped in caught happy hour their drink specials are two for one vodka based drinks- 9 to 13 dollar range, worth it. Bartenders service the tables to and tend to get caught behind bar and lost track of our table, they had live music- we had bar apps and found the food and other patrons to be great-- we will return

This brewery was so much fun! There were a ton of board games to play, a yummy seasonal beer, live music and different food delivery options as well as snacks you could get there. The flight was reasonably priced and there was plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were sitting on your neighbor. There was a cute little swag store too!
