Zip: 07450, phone 201-445-5400. From their website, it looks like they are owned by the same people who own The Park Steakhouse in Park Ridge, NJ, which you already have listed. Park West Tavern has been in existence for about 8 or 9 months (according
I had a gift certificate to Park West Tavern and took my aunt for dinner for her birthday/Christmas present. It was such a nice place for dinner with delicious food, wonderful service in a very inviting atmosphere. We were sat to the front of the restaurant near the fireplace. It was a warm and inviting restaurant with nice comfortable furnishings and cool colors. It is nice place to get a drink as well.Dinner was wonderful. We had the almond chicken nuggets which were hardly nuggets and more a full chicken breast, dipped in almond and cornflake crust and deep fried to perfection. They were large, juicy and flavorful. The sauce accented them nicely. The appetizer was a meal in itself.I had a pub burger that was perfectly cooked and it was served with a side of crisp greens in a nicely flavored dressing with homemade pickles and home made ketchup. It was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The service was very nice and welcoming. Our waiter was there to check up on us and could not have been more friendly. He made some nice recommendations and the whole overall experience was excellent.I highly recommend the restaurant for drinks and dinner.

A neighborhood bar with an eclectic menu of modern American cuisine, Steel Wheel Tavern is sure to please. Located in Ridgewood's Historical District directly across from the train station, Steel Wheel Tavern maintains the charm of its late 19th century o
Perfect place to enjoy a cold beer at the outdoor terrace. They offer a wide variety. They had $5 beers at the happy hour.
2nd time in the past 2 visits that we both returned our drinks. This time the beer was stale and without bubbles or a head. The Prosecco (out of a tap) also came without bubbles. Our complaining resulted in 2 fresh drinks that were better. My question is - where did those first 2 drinks come from? The manager told us that a lot of people complain about the Prosecco!! Yaâ think???The food was average passable for bar food, except that the prices were higher than acceptable for pub grub.Last but not least - please train your waitstaff to stop coming over every 10 minutes to ask us if weâre done. Very very annoying.NEVER AGAIN. Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are sorry to hear about your experience, and we will pass your notes and feedback along to the staff and the management team to prevent something like this from happening again. If youâre ever around on the weekends, we do host a delicious brunch for all ages. Hope to see you again!

I wanted to treat my friend to a nice lunch so we ended up here. I know this restaurant to be somewhat of an institution here in Ridgewood so in was expecting something great. NOT So much. We were not greeted at the door, nobody was in the place eating. No wait staff were evident. The only evidence that they were open was the three sad old men at the bar reading newspapers and drinking. I don't know how those drinks appeared as we did not see a bartender. After wandering around for 5 minutes and calling for assistance we left.
