We stumbled upon this fantastic bar in Arona on our last night in Italy. The bar had only recently opened. We got to meet the guys that opened the bar which is in a lovely old cellar. My husband raved about the grappa and coffee and he is an aficionado of both. I had a lovely tea and when I complemented it, the boys gave me the box!! Amazing service, great vibe, it made our stay in Arona at Lago Maggiore even more special. This place is fantastic âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

This is a very traditional, very well done Irish Pub! This place sparked my curiosity to see what an 'Irish' PUB in Italy would be like. I was surprised when it was absolutely packed and the energy was just fantastic. Great place to visit if you grow weary of Italian food when on the Lake!

Ispra was my base for some cycling training and I was given the tip to try Robyâs by a local.Great fresh food with a nice variety of daily specials at an unbeatable price. I ended up coming back here every evening and enjoyed a whole range of excellent pasta dishes.Roby is a relaxed, well-traveled and very hospitable Dutchman who has lived in Italy for a long time and developed his passion for Italian cooking. He also speaks a whole range of languages. And Roby was also very welcoming to my dog who accompanied me each evening.I will certainly be back on my next visit to Ispra on the beautiful Lago Maggiore.thank you much for your review, hope to see you soon, enjoy your staying! Irish pub - grilled meat - live music - outdoor seating - stage for outdoor - performances - events & much more
I simply adore this place. And come back quite often. The choiche of starters (salami, onion rings, olives, fried pepperoni and foat cheese, fried zucchini, fried more or less everything!,,) is super yum, just don't eat too much, otherwise you will not have ebough space left for the amazing fiorentina and country style fries.Beer is served nice and cold, in pitchers. They also have a decent selection of wine.Decor isnt at its finest, but they have a nice al fresco area.I reccomend this place if you are a meat lover!!!

I have been a couple of times at "Retro". It is not properly a restaurant but it is more a snack-bar and cocktail/wine bar. The "panini" are fantastic. The quality of the food is great and they are very original. There is the possibility to eat directly on the square with a direct view on the lake. The waiters are quick and nice. One of the best "quick" solution in Arona

Obic is a sandwich shop with a small kitchen, specializing in hamburgers and local craft beers. Since 2012 offers a quiet and informal environment, even for large groups and birthdays. You will be welcomed by friendly and helpful owners, in a family atmos
If you are an American you will be very disappointed. The burgers are nothing like you expect in the States, although the fries were very good. It is not "barbeque" like Trip Advisor suggests. No, these were ordinary and probably frozen patties lacking any flavor. Even the bacon only added texture, not taste. The service was friendly.Hi and thank you for the review!i'm sorry that your burger hasn't met your american taste, we'll try our best.Advice to recreate the american Taste are welcome!Thank you =)
