Having a few days in Ramsgate as we regularly do but on this occasion I am in a wheelchair due to an accident so booked into travelodge & after having a lovely morning mooching around, decided we would visit Mariners for eats & drinks because it looked so festive & inviting. Unfortunately couldn't gain access in my electric wheelchair and all it would take is a little cement where it's missing at front door to create a lip. Love Ramsgate but seeing it from a disabled person eyes for the 1st time it is lacking in so many places. Not possible for some buildings but others could just simply have a fold away ramp for their thresholds which I believe are relatively inexpensive, certainly less than we would have spent.Hi Tara,Sorry to hear about your accident and yes a shame you did not come in.... We have two entrances, one of which enables wheelchair access! We are happy to offer any assistance when asked, we have several regular customers who use wheelchairs. However there are no disabled toilets, due to the age and design of the building.Kind regards Jason

Still terrific value for money at this Weatherspoon pub with terrific food prices and the lowest drink prices in the town !! When went they were doing a pint of beer for £1.80 and even Doombar was only £2.00 a pint - I was so surprised I had to check with the waitress it was not for an halfHello, We are glad you are happy with our prices and food! I can say they wont be changing any time soon! Thank you for your feedback, and we hope you visit again soon.

Staff attentive, better than my previous visit but it was early afternoon and empty. The menu could benefit from a serious overhaul. Pretty much potatoes with everything and only one vegan choice. Food was 'ok' but considering its location and views I think it is definitely missing a trick with what it offers.Thank you for your feedback and comments relating to our staff :) I have passed your further comments onto the relevant department.Kind regards,SaranneIf you would like to contact the General Manager directly then please do so on [email protected].

Called in recently to try the food here for the first time, having enjoyed a couple of good music nights. We were both amazed by just how good everything was. 2 starters and 2 fish dishes off the daily specials board were all amazing. All tasty and very well seasoned. Quality of everything was excellent! Portion size of the starters was huge too.Staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting that we mix and match elements from the main courses to suit our preference..Do not let the exterior of this building put you off, inside is warm and welcoming. We will be coming back very soon to try other dishes. Thank you so much for your kind words, we look forward very much to seeing you very soon .. :)

Built in 1576, The Bell Inn has been central to the the village of Minster-in-Thanet. As the centuries have passed, the one thing that has never changed at the Bell, is the importance of community, which is why in 2019, Keith and Debbie Barnett, have deci
We had a great family lunch in The Bell today with some lovely wholesome food at a reasonable price and we were definitely not disappointed. A great menu to choose from and the food came out hot. The staff were attentive, but not overly in any way and could not have been more helpful from the time we'd pre-booked to the time we left.Yes we will be back!!!!

Welcome to the Toby Carvery Thanet. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings â including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely
Popped in at lunch time. The restaurant was already fairly busy, but we were shown to our table promptly, and once there, we ordered drinks, which turned up quickly as well.We had the carvery, 4 meats were on offer, and all the food was cooked well, was hot, and well presented. The chef and staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our meal. There is a car park on site, which is accessed via a side road, signage could be a bit better here, but this did not distract from what was an all round good visit.Hi Livelifet0thefull, We are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! We always strive to provide top quality service to every guest, and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience here at Toby Carvery Thanet! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a brilliant review. Hopefully see you again soon.Kind RegardsJoshManager

Cliff top Shepherd Neame Tenanted Pub with large patio overlooking Pegwell Bay. Reservations are strongly recommended as this establishment gets extremely busy, especially during the Summer months
On a beautiful sunny day sat outside on the deck and had a lovely lunch. Service was a bit slow for a Monday but was worth the wait.

20 cover family run small plates tapas restaurant above The Ravensgate Arms pub in King Street, Ramsgate.
Myself and my partner have visited twice now with our two young children, now of 3 years and 4 months and were easily accommodated and a high chair was supplied, Jess is very friendly and great with the children and even offered a few things to keep the eldest entertained. The food is just ablosutely lovely and you really feel the dishes have been made especially for you. Luke is very creative, knows his stuff and every dish has been delicious and there is always something new to try, usually to suit every palate. Its also nice to be able to taste a few dishes at once which are priced well that you can order more if need be but your not spending too much if its not to your particular taste. We will definately be back and recommend everyone visits at least once!

As my partners family are from ramsgate I have been in this pub many times, for drinks, for meals and for family occasions. The owners and staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. Food is always lovely and value for money . We recently held my mother-in-laws wake in the function room at the rear and the staff couldnât of been more helpful , turning a tragic family moment into a beautiful family gathering........Thank you so much !

Village Pub & Kitchen
Tried this pub after a couple of years absence. Sadly it has changed hands and the menu is pretty basic and picking what to eat was difficult. No specials board. Desserts were limited choice too. Pub very noisy and the sound does travel through to the restaurant. Also sat at a table which was not fit for purpose. Very small in height compared to the others. Nice enough staff but we wont be going back.
