Punta Mita has all this plus championship golf, diving, sport fishing, surfing, sailing, sea kayaking, whale watching, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, Jeep tours, and rainforest excursions. Walk into town for beachfront restaurant dining and Pacific Ocean sunsets. Kids can safely swim at Playa El Anclote, where the rock jetties calm the shallow waters near restaurant row. The Bahia, another Nicklaus-designed championship course, has six ocean holes, and is lined by beach sands and gated resort properties controlling course access. The Bahia Banderas (Bay of Banderas) and north towards Sayulita is great for fishing and diving volcanic tunnels, or just watching whales, dolphins, turtles, and ocean birds. Snorkel color-splashed shallow reefs. Spend a day on a ponga, a motorized open-bow fishing boat in search of mahi-mahi (dorado), pugnacious pargo (big cubera snapper), Pacific sailfish, fighting roosterfish, yellowfin tuna, and bonita. From Islas Marietas and El Morro to La Corbetena and El Banco, the diving opportunities are numerous.

Beach palapa sports bar, restaurant and pool, perfect place to dine, watch your favorite sports and shoot pool ... our food is right on top with the best restaurants in town.
Iâve visited Cocoâs a few times before as itâs a great place to watch live sports. So this time I was visiting to play some pool, they have 2 pool tables now which is great I think they are the only ones in town. If you want a break from pool they also have table football. As I have experienced here before we were quickly served by the helpful and friendly staff. However our usual order of wings would be somewhat different this time. Nallely the owner told us of her new chef Gabriel and the new menu. We decided to order a few different things. We got the tuna cappachio, shrimp tempura and the mini burgers/ slider. We had the lamb, crab and beef. (See attached photos). We werenât disappointed. Tuna was excellent it had a fresh herb crust and been seared, that plate didnât last long. Next we had the tempura the soy based sauce with this was great I could have just drink a cup full of it. Then we ordered the sliders, as a lamb lover this was my favorite but the crab was a close second. I will be going to Sayulita next week and I will definitely be going back for more. Iâm looking forward to seeing what Gabriel comes up with next time Iâm hoping for a few specials.

The view is very nice. Top floor terrace with view to the sea. The Barwoman made great drinks. The stools are not that comfortable. Good service.
