Lots of screens running sports events. Nice staff but slow kitchen. Had the chicken mac and cheese, batter fried chicken was tough to cut, little Mac ,little cheese. JoJo's were pretty but potatoes were old.
This is a regular hang out for many Powell folks. Nothing fancy but a fun place to go. Good happy hour prices. No food, but they have many menus of places that will deliver. Definitely a Buckeye place. So if you are a Buckeyes fan you need to come hete. You will not be disappointed.

We visited in March. We ate dinner and had wine/beer. I had a cheeseburger (ok - nothing special) and others had the BLT (raved about how good it was!), and short rib tacos (he said they were spicy but good). Atmosphere was loud. There were TVâs with several games on. We enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of parking.

Food was good with generous portions. Tacos were bigger than expected. Overall a good value, and because it is " a la cart" everyone can order to match their need. Service was questionable. We were in on NFL opening Sunday, about an hour and half before kickoff. Six servers/bartenders all congregating and the 3 tables all waiting for drink refills, silverware etc. if I were local I would return, but being from out of town, I would not make an effort to get back there on my next trip to town.

My husband and I recently visited the Lazy Chameleon. We had great service as soon as we entered the door. The guy was very nice and friendly when we walked in and then our waitress was nice. She gave recommendations on beer and food. Checked on us the right amount. The beer was good and so was the food. The shrimp had a unique flavor and something I have never had before. It was nice to have something different from the rest of the local places. They had a live band their that night and they were great. Not sure if they had a cover that night because we were there kind of early. We would go back for sure.

Where locals gather and visitors are always welcome! A quaint Irish Pub located in the heart of Historic Dublin. Serving unique and standard Irish fare. Great selection of Irish beers and whiskies.
The Dublin Village Tavern looks small from the outside and the inside ⦠and small it is. I suggest getting there early, because it is an enjoyable place. Dublin, Ohio, depicts itself as an Irish town. Although this is obviously not true, the Village Tavern does a good job of creating an Irish pub atmosphere. The food and beer are very good, and it is simply a comfortable place to enjoy a summer afternoon and early dinner.

The Prohibition Gastro Lounge is on the main street through Powell which can have a lot of vehicular traffic on a two lane road. Parking is available on the street but one block away on Hall Street there is a public parking lot. The restaurant has a small store front with some limited seating and a bar on the first floor but there are tables on the second floor where the main seating is located. One drawback for those with mobility issues is the stairs are steep. There is a full service bar available. The listing of different whiskies is extensive and really surprised me. My favorite Woodford Reserve Double Oak was available on the list at a reasonable price. Craft beers are available as well. I thought the drink prices were very reasonable. The menu is limited but the selections are very good. I tried the pulled pork which was amply piled with meat and coleslaw and came with French fries. My wife ordered the salmon which she loved. another in our party ordered the chicken with macaroni and he said the hot spice on the chicken was just right for him. The service was equally top notch. We were promptly seated and our drink orders taken. Our server came back often and checked on us.

I've been going to The Liberty Tavern ever since they have opened. I've dined there with friends, my wife, my staff and even lunches with our men's group. The array of domestic and global as well as craft beers is quite extensive and their selection of spirits is equally broad. The menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, flatbreads, salads, sandwiches/burgers and entrees, all of which are prepared well and are tasty. The service also is pleasant and helpful. This is one of our local favorites and we'll keep coming back here frequently. I do miss the oyster po boy, however!
